This is the first step on the crystal path . It is YOU . You are the
beginning . This crystal represents the hidden sign Arachne , and
the infinite .The infinity is in the possibilities that life holds
- like a snake eating it's own tail . It is the unknown
and the known all rolled into YOU . All your magickal abilites surround
you in the crystal path waiting to be used and realized . Your power
to do anything is infinite , but you can only realize (make real) so
much of it at a time ... have patience and you will reach the End of
the Crystal Path in No-Time ... The Mayan Seal for this Aspect of Soul is that of the dragon and the lifegiving blood which flows in all things (dragon-energy) . The main idea here is that this is the crystal from which all the other crystals flow to and from , thus the symbol of infinity , and also the reason why it is most resonant with the Crown Chakra . Further more , the SOUL is the opposite of Ego , the self-defeating purpose. This is the worship of a God. Ego is something seperate from the Self and the SOUL, and so is a GOD. Therefore, the worship of a God , and the beleif of anything other than such is the worship of the Ego. Unless you realise the conenctedness of all things. Then you realise that the Jealous God up in the sky is just your Ego, trying to purposefuly defeat your happiness. Beware a deity that takes a definite form other than ALL forms. You are intrinsically a FORM-LESS thing, since EVERYTHING is your form. I tell you now, not to mistake any of what I say here and apply it to God , or to your own Ego. Beleive in the Magic within ALL , within your SOUL , and most of all simply BELIEVE. You have no idea how frustrating it is to have something extraordinary happen and for someone to say and ruin it by going "I CAN'T BELEIVE THAT JUST HAPPENED," thus negating the experience of the SOUL trying to reach them ... It's a crying shame, it really is. The soul tries to get our attention through various methods. For one, the soul will try to put you through what I call the "explosive moment", where reality gives way to a fantastic expression of beauty, or even ugliness. It grabs you and shakes you, metaphysically speaking. The ego tries to get your attention , too . But this is mostly intrusive behaviour and not much to look at , your mother telling you to "get a job", people at work telling you what to do... things that you take for granted are usually the Ego's foothold in your life. But the main point I am trying to make here is that the explosive moments where you cannot awnser or feel the need to say "that possibly couldn't have happened," when it did, are explosive moments and you should take heed of the SOUL !!!! |

This is the Element of AIR . It is one of the 6 Elemental Crystals , and its symbol is the "O" , or circle . It stands for the knowledge one gains over time , and that which is already known within , thus the circle . The Crystal of AIR radiates into the outer crystals of Creativity, Knowledge, and Silence. It radiates from the heart chakra, this "inspiration", and fuels the wisdom by which those who are Illumined live their lives. This wisdom is therefore based on LOVE , which connects all things and makes them whole. It is through our breath that we live and it is the most important element of all, without air we die pretty quickly. We can survive a little while without food or water, but without air we cannot use the brain. No wonder the people keep getting stupider about the enviornment. The trees get cut down and THAT also cuts off the oxygen to their brain.
Honestly, though , it is imperative that we take action to reclaim our forests, and other sources of air. Why have we allowed EVEN A LITTLE POLLUTION, let alone the pollutin we have in abundance now ??? Why have we allowed ourselves to be wrung around the neck ? Where did we think it would get us? It is the industries that not only steal our air, but rob us of the opportunity to CREATE and to find out things for ourself, since nowadays, the commercials all tell you what to buy. Nothing is free in this world, except the AIR you breathe... but they want to get a grip on that commodity, too, so pretty soon we will all be slaves. You may call it paranoia, sure, that's a worst case scenario, but when are YOU going to see that the explosive moment of change is coming within you ? That there is a time where you realize that your freedom is bieng take away again, and you must now pay for the AIR you breathe ?

The Element of Moon is one of the 6 Elemental Crystals , not to mention part of a TRIAD with the Sun and the Soul crystals. By this I mean that the Moon is the Inner Self, based solely on the heartfelt inner thoughts and emotions...kinda impulsive. This means that the MOON Crystal satnds for all those mystical experiences, and fuels the Explosive Moments (see Soul) that make you want to pay more attention to the Soul.
The Moon Crystal radiates out into the Balance, Magick, and Creativity Crystals. The Symbol for the Moon is a crescent moon . The moon stands for Night , and all things dealing with Magick, on the crystal path. Magick is the force of your will used to effect reality, not some wierd witchcraft that the Christians will put you in jail for. Well, not until it's a crime to think for yourself and to have control over your destiny.

The Crystal of Creativity and Play is the crystal that combines the resonances of Moon and Air . It was originally , simply the crystal of Creativity until I realized how important paly was to the Human Race in general (as one human to another) . I don't mean play as in games you play on your computer where it's all mapped out for you by someone else , but the creativity and play of a child maKING up their own rules and imagining things as they go along - this is almost lost in our society these days , because we are letting other people PLAY WITH US . We are letting them take advantage of our creativity and our freedom with things like WORK. Kan , the Mayan Seal for this Crystal also means seed , and like a seed we plant , our play and imagination plants a seed for reality to change to our will .

Most people wil wonder what Not-wanting is . It's a term I made up mostly out of surrealism and just messing with words , but it means what it says . To not WANT , but to GIVE . Most people disregard that second point and they think I'm saying to deny yourself of things . You are allowed to GIVE to yourself just as you would to anyone else . I thought I would clarify that point before I went on to say that it is also GIVING to other people , and this means energy - whether it is a kind word, hope, or just love to make their day brighter. I have found that Reiki seems to do this. But I am not going to reference you to a Reiki Master , but rather have you look into it yourself and see what you feel you need to do to heal other people in their own lives .

Most people don't understand the concept of Karma as anything more than what happens in another reicarnation because of what you did in a past life. As a result, it is well misunderstood that living in the NOW is what Karma is about. Karma affects you NOW. Most people sit around and worry about it later on when it affects them , but they do not understnad the dualistic nature and that it is part of a cycle. Now you will probably ask how Karma, something that seems pretty linear in terms runs through a cycle ... well , you can easily say that "it comes back to you".
The mayan glyph for this is Cimi , which means "world bridger" , this also means going across the realms into death. This cyrstal represents the realization of death. But this is the death of the Ego ... and ego-less realm , and ego-less world. This is the point of CIMI . I've changed the Subject to ego , so now you see how , in this crystal Karma runs over Dogma. The flow of life and chaos must be allowed to take it's course, instead of fools creating new rules that work only towards the extinction of our species and the glorification of Ego (any God-concept!!!). The cycles of the flow of life , and this includes Karma, must be allowed to run their course, which of course means the death of the Ego. The time for stubborness and wanting is over . Loyalty to the flow (through all the Crystalline Precepts) will be unending, and helpful to the SOUL and not the Ego

Balance or peace is about duality coming together and realizing they are one. It is the whole idea of triangulation by balancing out two sides. It is about accomplishing and healing the seperation of two sides by a karmic justice. Manik, the mayan tribe for this Crystal, defines this idea. It's tone, which is two- also means Lunar.
The ray of Balance is two, which equal each other. 1=1, and 1+1=2. This is obvious, but overlooked in our own lives.
