Hair Tips

woman* Avoid putting rubberbands, clips, or bows in your hair too often because they tend to break and cease hair. It is better if you use coated rubberbands or soft scrunchies.

*If your scalp breaks out try using L'anza Deep Cleansing Shampoo to deeply cleanse your scalp and remove oils that are clogging your hair follicles and causing breakouts.

*While blow drying your hair, keep the blow-dryer moving instead of leaving it in one spot. If drying hair upside down, start at the nape, move on to the sides and dry the crown last since there is a tendency to overdry that area. When blow drying use a thermal protector (ie Paul MitchellŽ "Seal and Shine") It will absorb the heat, add body&shine, and cause less damage to the hair.

*For light brown to blond hair- Lighten your locks by steeping a chamomile tea bag in 1 cup boiling water for 5 minutes. Cool and pour into 12-ounce spray bottle filled with water. Spray on dry hair;brush. After half an hour, rinse.

*For light to medium blond hair- Brighten your hair up by squeezing lemon juice from two lemons into a 12-ounce spray bottle, fill rest with water, and shake. Spray on damp hair allowing the them to dry in the sun.

*For brown hair- For reddish highlights add two tea bags of green tea to 2 cups boiling water and let steep for five mins. Pour cooled tea onto just shampooed hair, then rinse right away.

Do's And Don'ts
Don't shampoo your hair more than once a day;you'll only get dried out
Do lather up once a day;work shampoo into scalp and rinse well;after a major workout just rinse hair with warm water
Don't brush soaking wet hair because it is 3x weaker and more likely to break off
Do towel-dry hair and comb with a wide-tooth comb
