Strokes @ Swim Town

Review- The four main strokes are butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. The order they are written in is called Im order or individual medley. The distance of swimming is measured in laps which are measured in meters. Usually, a pool is 25 meters, or 50 meters long which is Olympic size. The individual medley consists of an equal distance of each stroke in one race. Tips 1. In breaststroke keep your head in a stationary position. 2. In backstroke, keep yourself streamlined and keep your head back as well as kick butterfly as long as you can under water off of flip turns. 3. In butterfly, move your hips so your buttox stays in the air. 4. In freestyle, stay streamlined at all times.
