This is what my guitar looks like, except mines blue. I love my guitar.
I play it about every day and its something I love to do. I've been
playing for about 4 years and I'd have to say I'm getting pretty good.
Most of the music that I like to play is either 80's hard rock or heavy
metal. However, I have learned a lot of newer music. One problem I have
is never knowing what to learn to play, so If you have any suggestions
for songs, dont be afraid to email me and suggest it. I wanna learn as
much stuff as I can. I've been trying to get myself to write my own
music, but as you might know, writing music can sometimes be tough.
Along with my guitar, Ive got a Peavey Special 212 amp. Its two twelve inch speakers and 130 watts of power. Its so sweet. Its loud enough to be heard all throughout my neighborhood, and probably a few more too. It rocks.
This here, for all you who dont know, is Eddie VanHalen. Hes basically
my guitar playing idol. He is a music and guitar genious. Many people
dont like his style, but he has been very innovative when it comes to
things like speed picking and finger tapping. I saw VanHalen play live
this past summer, and I would have to say it was the greatest concert
I've ever been to. Seeing Eddie live on stage, jamming away was like
a dream to me. My brother got me started on listening to VanHalen my
freshman year of high school, and ever since then I've loved all their
music. I kinda took all his VanHalen cd's from him and never gave them
back. Oops. Oh well. He'll live.
This here is a Gibson Flying V. Its kinda like a dream guitar for me.
This is the type of guitar Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield started out
on. I've played one of these in a guitar shop and I just loved it. Its
got real quick action on it, for those of you who know guitar terms. If
I could get any guitar, I'd probably be one of these or just a plain
Gibson Les Paul.
Well thats about it for my guitar page. I hope you liked it. These are
my styles of guitar. I do like to play acoustic a little bit, but I'm
more of the type for playing plugged into an amp and really really loud.
