~~~~WELCOME~~~~
You are about to embark on a journey, a journey through time, as it was told to me by my Grandmother, who learned it from hers.
This history as well as the creation legend was what I learned from her. She could not emphazine enough the importance of knowing this.
Even though this was related to me orally, this is the first time it has been written down. Yes I did keep a copy on disc as well as hard copy...But I've place it here on the net for those seeking to find it.
For those, the skeptical, it may read like some 4th rate novel or story, too bad my Friend, I'm not a novelist.
But for those who have an open mind and are willing to search and research, I can assure you that what was taught to me is true...as according to our tradition and also towards the end...thought personal experice.
Each link is a chapter---I've put each link here, but you can also follow from chapter to chapter.
I do want to caution you~~~it is long~~~you may prefer to download it to either disc or print it out. There are no virus's here. But I do recommend to print it out~~~It's easier on the eyes and then you can take it with you wherever you go~~~ maybe you may want to discuss this with friends or family~~~maybe even have a debate about it~~~I don't mind
I want you to picture this~~~this was told to me after I was initiated into our Family Tradition of Witchcrat, we were also brought up in the Catholic Faith as well~~~I found that after I understood this that my understanding of the Craft and the Catholic beliefs were expanded and became more all encompassing~~~Granny told this to me outdoors~~in the warm evenings, under the stars~~~she had a permanet circle constructed in her back yard and there a portable fire place made out of a bottom half of an oil drum mounted on three legs with a thick layer of sand to line the bottom of it to burn a wood fire~~~I remember the fire had a most wonderful smell, cedar and applewood~~~and it was here that she told and re-told to me the History of our Tradition~~~~
Imagine--the voice of an older woman, old in age but whose voice still has vigor~~~~Imagine a garden, planted with fruit trees for shade and flowers in the sun. Creeping night blooming jasmine, stephanotis, and the bold look of the hibiscus~~~admists all of this is a circle made out of bricks carefully laid and in the center of this is a fire burning in a large container of metal, the smell of the wood is of cedar and something that one cannot discribe but is sweet, the sun has set~~~ the stars are out and slowly rising is a thin cresent moon~~~but you forget that as you listen to the voice~~~~~~~~~~~~~
