The problem you face can be solved by
making sure that the proxy is enabled in the browser &
the DNS is enabled in the TCP/IP of Network in Control Panel

EMAIL QUOTA
Each customer has been assigned a mailbox
which has a capacity of 5 MB.
If the mail that you have exceeds this capacity you
will receive a low mail quota warning.
You then have to go to our homepage
www.emirates.net.ae and log on with your  userid  & your  email password
at the right hand top. You will see all your email messages
there. You will have to delete them from there.

EMAIL PROBLEM INCOMPLETE INFORMATION
Can you please specify which email client software you
use for checking the email so that we can check the settings
of the same.
You may also test whether your EIM mailbox  is working by going
to our homepage www.emirates.net.ae and log on with your  userid  &  your  email password
at the right hand top.You should be able to send and receive mail from there.

Can you please send all the relevant details about the problem
you face along with some supporting attached documentation

PASSWORD
If you have forgotton ur password the only way to get a new password is to
go to Etisalat with ur passport copy and get a new password.

MODEM CONNECT AT LOW SPEED

The modem may connect always at lower speeds due to noisy telephone line. If you feel that the telephone line is noise free then you may try to insert some extra settings in your modem so that the modem always connects at the highest speed. The extra settings can be obtained from the modem manual or the website of the modem manufacturer.

To add an extra settings in the modem , use the following steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Modems.
  3. Click the modem you are using, and then click Properties.
  4. On the Connection tab, click Advanced.
  5. In the Extra Settings box, type the appropriate extra settings.
  6. Click OK or Close until you return to Control Panel.


    REQUEST FOR MORE MAIL WEBSPACE 

    As we have limited space may we kindly request to disable the option(in ur mail client software eg Outlook,Eudora) of leaving a copy of mail on the server because of which you always reach disk capacity fast.Or please delete the email messages from our homepage www.emirates.net.ae more often.


    REMOVAL OF POST DIAL TERMINAL WINDOW

    Please click on  My Computer /Control Panel......Dial up Networking.......then right click on the connection icon which may be Emirates Internet or My Connection....then click on properties.....you will find General...Server types or Networking ,Scripting, Multilink......pls click on Configure in General.....then Options on the top and remove the tick mark or check mark on BRING UP TERMINAL WINDOW AFTER DIALLING if any
