Creator
factor - does it exist or not?
The
debate on God is much more complex and fundamental to our existence. Without
this concept, we get confined to a finite existence on a miniscule planet,
on the outskirts of a galaxy, in a Cosmos of unimaginable size and
complexity, without any purpose or goal. But, is it right or worthwhile
to create a cause where none exists, just to justify our accidental
(?) birth as an important event or a part of this immense complexity? Fortunately,
in the last few decades, several scietists have started searching for answers
to these very questions. Putting aside the problem of unreasoned belief,
they are applying the scientific method in a most critical and rational
way. Recent advances in physical sciences are also helping and dissolving
the boundary that had separated it till now from traditional metaphysics.
Everything is now coming under their purview. How the physical universe
came into being in the first place? What had happened in the first second
of creation? How the time itself has started? Why are the laws of nature
favorable to development of life and intelligence, and so mathematical
in nature? Are there many universes with different schemes, or does this
universe itself contain different compartments with different sets of laws?
Innumerable questions exist with numerous answers, encompassing
theories, suggestions, hypotheses and conjectures, by some of the most
brilliant minds on the planet. But ironically, the Creator factor
still remains elusive. Lurking behind a moving veil of ignorance,
IT seems to laugh at us and at all our efforts to discern the reality
behind 'IT'. |
