Karin's Family History Page

Many of our ancestors have similar migration patterns. Our Scottish and Irish ancestors arrived in PA then migrated to VA, slowly making their way through OH or KY then finally to Southeast and Central Indiana. Most of our families were in the original Colonies, some as early as 1630.

Our German ancestors arrived much later (in the early to mid 1800's), some arriving in MD, some in PA, then again making their way to SouthEast and Central Indiana.

We also have a few ancestors that resided in NY, NJ and DE, then made their way to Indiana.

Most of our ancestors were of Scottish, Irish and German decent. They were Baptists, Methodist, Catholic, Brethren, and Quaker.

With limited space on this site, I cannot give a complete family history of all of our ancestors, however, I am taking a no nonsense approach by listing some of our direct ancestors here. For more detailed account of these families, see my other web page at
