....."And this is my home." Serena said with a hint of relief in her voice as
her and Prince William stepped into her house. She still couldn't believe all
that happened to her today. First with finding William, then realizing that
he he has amnesia, and now successfully dodge and losing the two armed men who
tried to abduct them. Serena thought that things like this happened in
movies, not her life. Meanwhile, William looked around inquisitively.
.....
..... "Hey it's no Buckinghem Palace, but it's my home-sweet-home." Serena
said with a smirk as she flopped down on a sofa. She was very sore and finally
sitting down after a whole afternoon of running and walking felt good.
..... "Buckinghem..."
..... "Forget it, I'll tell you later." Serena interrupted, annoyed. William
looked at her for a few moments leaving the room with an uneasy atmosphere.
..... "Do you want something to drink?" Serena broke the silence as she stood
up and headed towards the kitchen.
..... "Uh, yea." William replied. He followed Serena into the kitchen where
she was pouring two glasses of coke.
..... "Do I like..."
....."Coke. Yes you do. If fact coke and red wine are your favorite drinks."
Serena gave William his glass of soda. William stared at his soda for a few
seconds. "I'd like some milk. Please?" William asked as he looked at Serena
with a mischievous smile on his face. Serena glared at him, a little pissed
off and made the replacement.
..... "So who where those two men back there? And don't tell me don't worry
about it or you'll tell me later...because you already said that you would
tell me when we get to your home. And here we are." A smile appeared on
William's face. He knew that Serena's all out of excuses...and he liked to
see her squirm.
..... "You really wanna know?"
..... "Uh-huh."
..... "The truth is..." A beat. ''I don't know." Serena answered with a sigh
and a shrug.
..... "Huh? What do you mean?" William gave Serena a confused look.
..... "Look, your guess is as good as mine on this. My best theory is that
they are after you for whatever reasons they have and my mission now is to
keep you out of their grasp."
..... "Oh, cool!" William said with exciting sense adventurous in his voice.
Now it's Serena's turn to give a confused look.
..... "Ok, what's wrong with you? Those people are after you! God knows what
they want to do with you..."
..... "Don't you have any sense of adventure?" William asked with a big smile
on his face. "This could be so cool!! I can save the country and be a hero!"
As William spoke, he posed Hercules pose, his unbuttoned sleeves got rolled up
when he was doing this and showed his toned muscles. "Be like that guy,
what's his name...Indiana Jones...or something like that." William smiled
sheepishly as he returned to his normal posture, face blushing.
..... Serena can't help but laugh at William. She never knew an aristocrat,
much less a royal can have such a nice sense of humor. She always thought
that they where all stuck-up and spoiled beyond belief. "Maybe I'm wrong
about that." Serena thought to herself.
..... "So how did you end up here, in England?" William questioned as he took
a sip from his milk, leaving a milk mustache. Serena reached over and gentaly
wiped it off. "Oh, it's a long, long story..."
..... Suddenly there was a lot of noise as the front door swung open and soon
was slammed shut. There was a lot of shuffling heard. Serena spun around,
very stunned and her whole face white.
..... "Serena, are you in there???"
