Fertilizer and Weed Control
We will tailor a lawncare program specific for your needs. As a point of reference we offer this basic 4 step program.
1. March/April
Granular slow release N-P-K fertilizer. A liquid pre-emergent is applied to prevent
crabgrass, foxtail and others.
A liquid broadleaf weed control is applied.
2. May/June
N-P-K granular slow release fertilizer application to help your lawn endure the stress of
the coming hot weather. Liquid broadleaf weed control.
3. Aug/Sep/Oct
N-P-K granular slow release fertilizer to extend the green time of your lawn into the fall.
Liquid broadleaf weed control.
4. Nov/Dec
The single most important fertilizer application of the season! Quick release nitrogen is
applied before winter dormancy. This applicaton feeds the roots improving turf density and
promoting earlier green-up in the spring.
