DIRECTIONS

Then Follow McGalliard Road, towards the East.
Drive slow. Watch out for children and ghosts.
Watch for the MARSH Grocery and the K-Mart Store.
We are across the street, at 1420 East McGalliard.
I've journeyed through many foreign lands,
where wondrous sights there I have seen,
and I've walked every street in Morningside,
where on dark nights the moonlight gleams.
But the scariest thing I ever did see,
was on a dark and lonely moonless night,
walking beside Morningside Creek where I heard,
something that would give the bravest men fright.
Near Morningside Park, is where I heard it first,
that really scary moaning, gently calling my name,
when I froze too frightened, too fearful to move,
the Ghost whispered, “Come here boy, don’t be afraid”,
Walking closer to the Creek to look, there I heard,
“Come closer, I’m Old Man Bill” the whispers said,
I then saw a foggy glow move towards me, whispering,
“Come here boy, I need your blood, because I’m dead !”
It happened just like that, on a dark scarey night,
near the Walking Bridge, beside Morningside Park,
as it still does, in the silence of dark nights,
when even the dogs, are too afraid to bark !
Where Old Man Bill's Vampire spirit, waits you,
lingering near the Walking Bridge, where he dwells,
waiting to scare you, with his Halloween fright !
whispering your name, as that ghostly fog swells.
So kids bring a parent, if you plan to see "Bill",
take the Hay Ride, and see kinda scarey stuff,
a Haunted Graveyard, maybe Ghosts and Vampires too,
but parents, have no fear, nothing will be mean or rough.
Just come have alot of fun, with everyone else,
playing games, getting candy for small pockets to fill,
then see a bunch, of Morningside Ghosts and Goblins,
who wait for kids and parents, to get a scarey thrill !
Join the Halloween fun in Morningside
