Wee Lucy

Wee Lucy was first published in 1894. It is the first book in the "Little Prudy's Children" series. It is dedicated to "The Children of those who still remember and love 'Little Prudy'". In this series of books, 'little' Prudy is grown up, married, and has children of her own. This book concentrates on the youngest child, 'Wee' Lucy. At the start of the book it is Christmas time, and Lucy is three years old. It tells of life in the Dunlee home with the other children, Katharine "Kyzie", Edith, and Jimmy.



Jimmy Boy

Jimmy Boy was first published in 1895. It is the second book in the "Little Prudy's Children" series. It is dedicated to "Master Edmond H. Morse of Baltimore". The book is about the only son of the Dunlees, Jimmy. It opens in July and continues through Christmas.



Kyzie Dunlee

Kyzie Dunlee was first published in 1895. It is the third book in the "Little Prudy's Children" series. It is dedicated to "Katherine W. Sawtelle and Kate Wheeler". It is mostly about the oldest Dunlee child, Katharine "Kyzie". At the start of the book she in eleven years old, and it tells of her doings with her friends.



Wee Lucy's Secret

Wee Lucy's Secret was first published in 1899. It is the fourth book in the "Little Prudy's Children" series. It is dedicated to "Two Little Friends anywhere who love each other dearly to help them remember that 'Love is the greatest thing in the world'". This book is again about 'Wee' Lucy Dunlee, who is six years old at the start of the story. The Dunlee family lives in California, but take frequent trips back to the east coast to visit the places from the earlier series. This tells about the friendship between Lucy and a girl named Barbara Hale.



Jimmy, Lucy, and All

Jimmy, Lucy, and All was first published in 1900. It is the fifth book in the "Little Prudy's Children's" series. This is one of the few books by Sophie May that I have not read, so I cannot tell you about it.



Lucy in Fairyland

Lucy in Fairyland was first published in 1901. It is the sixth (last) book in the "Little Prudy's Children" series. This is one of the few books by Sophie May that I have not read, so I cannot tell you about it.
