5th AKMA annual get-together

President: Dr M S Alaxander Secretary: Dr Antony Thomas Vachaparambil

Dear Kottayam friends, Hi and hello to everyone! Hope everybody is fine and in high spirits. I would like to remind you that our 5th AKMA annual get-together is going to be held in London on Saturday 19th May 2007. Spread the news today! We are yet to decide on the venue, I am entrusting that job to our local organising co-ordinators (Biju Kuriakose, Arun T.P and John Abraham.) We are also having an important executive committee meeting around New Year in one of our local organising co-ordinator’s house to plan out our strategy for this year. We will have some new artists performing for us this time. I am also anticipating some entertainment from many of our talented members and their family. We are also thinking about the cricket match to be held on the following day 20th May. The other option would be to conduct the cricket match near Onam (end of August) as a separate event along with some other interesting sporting activities for children and our ladies, basically some family fun e.g. Egg & Spoon race, Tug of war and your ideas… And I suggest that each family coming for this event could bring some food. In fact I attended a cricket match arranged by KALA organization during an Onamseason. It was great fun and each family brought a single food item like Appam or Idili or poori or samabar or rice, aviyal etc. Just an idea for your thoughts. There would be an election this year for our new General Secretary and other executive members. Important Notice This year the annual membership fee and the charges for the event will be collected before 1st May. Myself and our Treasurer Ajo K John would be after you soon. There will be an Admission pass and therefore those who could not pay the charges in advance won’t be guaranteed a place in the London event. This would enable me to run this years programme smoothly. There were some problems last year. Expecting your suggestions and comments

Warm regards Your Secretary Antony Thomas Vachaparambil

Dear ALL

Please see John's email regarding the hotels near our venue. See what a great work he has done. Didn't I tell you I was fortunate to have the local organisers? We should be very proud of the passion they have shown. Thumps up to Biju, John and Arun.

Please book your hotel today. Don't leave it until the end!

Hello friends

We have just 3 months for this years AKMA.

19 May Saturday.

Please email Ajo K John or ring him about your attendence and it would be very helpful to sort out the fees and charges beforehand. If you can't make the decision of attending yet, please make sure you warn him in advance.

We really want to order the correct amount of food you see. I don't want to waste any food as well as money, to be precise.

So please let us know if possible without much delay. Your cooperation in this matter is hugely appreciated.
