Indianapolis, Indiana - Murat Theater

This pic was taken on August 1, 2000 at The Fillmore..thanks to Becka from Hansonhotel.

It was really cold when we got to the Murat. Thank goodness the concert was inside this time! We parked across the street from the venue, and right across the street from Hanson's tour buses. (They're purple and silver lol.)

Anyway, the place was crowded when we got there. Once we got to our seats it was about time for M2M to play. (They were pretty good, I have to admit.) While they were playing and during the intermission time my friends I was with went out to the merchandise stand, but I stayed at our seats. I got to talking to the girls behind me, and they ended up being pretty cool. (I'd like to say hi to them if they ever stumble upon this page!) That's one thing I like about Hanson concerts. Meeting people my age who are interested in the same music that I am.

Hanson finally came out and opened up with "You Never Know," which was AWESOME. They covered "Peice of My Heart" (Janis Joplin), "Money" (The Beatles), "You Can't Always Get What You Want" (Rolling Stones), and "Gimme Some Lovin'" (Spencer Davis Group). But one of my favorite parts was when they sang the unreleased song "Bridges of Stone." That is such an awesome song! I think some of their best songs are unreleased. *shrugs*. Another favorite part was when they played "A Song to Sing," "Lucy," and of course some of the rockier songs like "In the City," and "Man From Milwaukee." I'd really like to thank Hanson for putting out such a great album and sharing such an awesome talent like theirs with the rest of the world. They help more people than they'll ever know! Check out for pics from the show and a complete set list. :0)
