The MAI has issued an Advertisement in Indian Express on 02nd February 2001 cautioning all involved in the 44th All India Motor Race Meet that MAI shall take a strict view of their conduct and shall apply the FIA Code against them and they shall be liable to suffer the penalities as laid down by the International Sporting Code.
The Advertisement is given below :

Before we proceed, it must be noted that because of MMSC conducting their All India Motor Race Meet, an only 4 Wheeler International event in India, Mr.Nazir Hoosein was holding on to the seat of the FIA World Council Member, as FIA stipulates that atleast one International event has to be held to contest for a seat in the World Council and his Vice-Presidentship in the FIA. The Madras Motor Sports Club, Chennai (MMSC) decided to conduct their 44th All India Motor Race Meet, an Annual event of the club for the past 44 years, on 4th February 2001. But this time not being an International event (most probably because Mr.Nazir Hoosein is now representing THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA in the World Council and it is now left to China to ensure that they conduct atleast one International event in a year) had for the first time decided to include an Endurance Race for 4 wheelers also and this was circulated to everyone in the month of January itself and everyone was looking forward to it as it is going to be the first ever Endurance Race in the Country.
Come 2nd February, everyone was in a rude shock, when they saw the advertisement issued in the Indian Express, which is self explanatory.
Mr.Nazir Hoosein, most probably due to the fact that FMSCI member clubs conduct about 130 events in a year, with MAI conducting just 8 championship events only for one Sponsor team (Promotion of Motor Sports as for as Mr.Max Mosley is concerned !!!!!), could not contain himself on the enthusiasm the competitors were having to participate in the first ever Endurance Race decided to spoil it by issuing an advertisement like this.
Now coming to the advertisement, it says that the FMSCI did not apply for a permit of the MAI to conduct an event.
IT MUST BE NOTED HERE THAT IT IS THE SAME MR.NAZIR HOOSEIN WHO WENT TO MUMBAI HIGH COURT AND GOT AN ORDER ISSUED STATING THAT NO ONE NEED TO APPROACH ANYONE TO RUN A MOTOR SPORTS EVENT, WHEN THE MUMBAI GOVERNMENT SAID THAT MAI MUST GET FMSCI PERMIT TO RUN AN MOTOR SPORTS EVENT, BUT NOW THREATENS EVERYONE SHOULD GET MAI PERMIT !!!!!! (PROMOTION OF MOTOR SPORTS HA HA HA)
The Advertisement further states that "All entrants, drivers, officials and others who are involved with, or take part in the 1st National Endurance for Esteem Cars and any automobile events in the 44th All India Motor Race Meet are hereby cautioned that the MAI shall take a strict view of their conduct and shall apply the FIA Code against them and they shall be liable to suffer the penalties as laid down by the International Sporting Code.
I WOULD SEE THIS CAUTION MORE FROM A VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE FIA RATHER THAN FROM THE MAI, FOR WHICH MR.NAZIR HOOSEIN IS ALSO THE PERMANENT PRESIDENT.
I REALLY DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY OF YOU ARE AWARE THAT THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION HAD SPECIFICALLY TOLD FIA THAT THEY MUST CONSTRAIN THEIR PENALTIES ONLY TO THE TECHNICAL VIOLATION AND MUST NOT INDULGE ITSELF IN THE DIRTY ACT OF PASSING SANCTIONS AGAINST COMPETITORS PARTICIPATING IN AN EVENT, NOT AUTHORISED BY THE FIA, WHICH HAS BEEN ACCEPTED BY THE FIA. A MEETING ON GOVERNANCE IN MOTOR SPORTS IS BEING HELD ON 22,23 OF FEBRUARY AT BRUSSELS TO ARRIVE AT A FINAL CONCLUSION.
IT IS AT THIS JUNCTURE, THE VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE FIA, MR.NAZIR HOOSEIN ISSUES THIS BLATANTLY VIOLATING ADVERTISEMENT. THIS SIMPLY GOES TO SHOW THAT THE FIA HAS SCANT DISREGARD TO EUROPEAN COMMISSION AND THAT WHATEVER FIA AGREES WILL ONLY BE IN THE PAPER AND NOT FOLLOWED AT ALL. THIS IS VERY CLEARLY BROUGHT OUT BY THE ADVERTISEMENT RELEASED BY THE VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE FIA MR.NAZIR HOOSEIN.
So strictly speaking, by Mumbai High Court judgement, thanks to Mr.Hoosein, no one need to take MAI Permit and his caution of passing penalties to totally against the FIA and their agreement with the European Commission.
I AS AN INDIVIDUAL WOULD TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PASS THIS ON TO THE FIA AS WELL AS THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION FOR THEM TO SEE HOW A VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE FIA PROMOTES MOTOR SPORTS AND THE VALUE HE HOLDS FOR EUROPEAN COMMISSION.
