Carl Folke Bernadotte, Count af Wisborg (eldest son of Folke Bernadotte, Count af Wisborg [himself a grandson of the late Prince Oscar Bernadotte, Count af Wisborg, former Prince of Sweden and Norway, Duke of Gotland and of the late Ebba Munck af Fulkila] and of Christine Glahns) married Birgitta Elisabeth Larsson in Uppsala, Sweden on August 12th.

Baroness Christina Silfverschiöld (daughter of Niclas, Baron Silfverschiöld and of Princess Désirée of Sweden) and her husband Baron Hans De Geer af Finspĺng had their first child, Baroness Estelle Louise Désirée De Geer af Finspĺng, born on September 14th.
Madeleine von Arbin (fifth and youngest daughter the late Nils-Magnus von Arbin and of Dagmar Bernadotte, Countess af Wisborg [herself a granddaughter of the late Prince Oscar Bernadotte, cr Count af Wisborg, the former Prince Oscar of Sweden, Duke of Gotland, and of the late Ebba Henrietta Munck af Fulkila]) and her husband Baron Gerard De Geer af Finspĺng divorced.
WALDECK AND PYRMONT
Princess Katharina-Sophie of Waldeck and Pyrmont (daughter of Prince Christian-Peter of Waldeck and Pyrmont and of Sybille Pieper) married Matthias Hoyer in a religious ceremony in Kleinmachnow near Berlin on May 13th.
[He is a son of Rolf-Hinrich Hoyer and of Britta Meincke. A civil ceremony had taken place in Hamburg on May 20th, 1999. They have a daughter, Philine-Sophie Hoyer, born on August 23th, 1999.]
Prince Christian-Ludwig of Waldeck and Pyrmont (son of Prince Georg-Viktor of Waldeck and Pyrmont and of Margarete von Klitzing) and his wife Countess Camilla von Holck (daughter of Count Christian von Holck and of Barbara von Gottberg) had their second son, Prince Victor of Waldeck and Pyrmont, born on June 23rd.
Prince Georg-Wilhelm of Waldeck and Pyrmont (son of of Prince Christian-Peter of Waldeck and Pyrmont and of Sybille Pieper) and his wife Freda Riedesel, Baroness zu Eisenbach had their second son, Prinz Max Georg Ludwig Wolrad of Waldeck and Pyrmont, born in Berlin on December 25th.

Robert von Keudell (great grandson of the late Robert von Keudell and of the late Alexandra von Grünhof, herself a daughter of Duke Ernst of Württemberg and of his morganatic wife Natalie Eischborn, created Frau von Grünhof) and his wife Countess Leonie von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth (daughter of Count Friedrich von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth and of Karin Duve) had a son, Karl-Julius von Keudell, born in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland on January 30th.
Margravine Gabriella von Pallavicini (daughter of Margrave Friedrich von Pallavicini and of Duchess Helene of Württemberg) married Ricardo Walter.

YUGOSLAVIA
Prince Karl Vladimir of Yugoslavia (son of the late Prince Andrej of Yugoslavia and of his second wife Princess Kira of Leiningen) married Brigitte Müller in a civil ceremony in London on April 18th.
[She was born in Schöttmar (now Bad Salzufle), Westphalia, Germany on July 7th, 1956, she is a daughter of the late Helmut Georg Müller and of Gerda Auguste Klara Martha Frieda Sander and she had been divorced from Wolfgang Staudte. The engagement was announced in December 1999. A religious ceremony will take place in 2001.]
Nicholas Balfour (son of Neil Balfour and of his first wife Princess Elisabeth of Yugoslavia) married Jonkvrouw Stéphanie de Brouwer at the Sint Serveas church in Grimbergen near Brussels, Belgium on May 24th.
[She is a daughter of Jonkheer Jean-Marie de Brouwer and Veronika Dengg and was born in Mortsel, Belgium on April 30th, 1971.]
Prince Tomislav of Yugoslavia (second son of the late Aleksandar I, King of Yugoslavia and of the late Princess Maria of Romania and husband of Linda Bonney) died in Oplenac, Serbia, Yugoslavia on July 12th.
[He had been divorced from his first wife Princess Margarita of Baden.]
