Baroness Franziska von Kottwitz-Erdödy (daughter of Baron Alexander von Kottwitz-Erdödy and of Archduchess Maria Alberta of Austria) and her husband Paul [of the papal barons] von Hagenauer had their fifth child [together], Johanna von Hagenauer, born in Vienna on January 29th.

Michael Alan McCracken and his wife Victoria Rene Hetsko (daughter of Edward Joseph Hetsko Jr. and of his former wife Maria Teresa Hopfinger [herself the eldest daughter of the late Joseph Hopfinger and of his former wife Archduchess Assunta of Austria]) had their second child, Ryan Alan Rainier McCracken, born in Austin, Texas, USA on February 11th.

Archduchess Isabella of Austria and her husband Count Andrea Czarnocki Lucheschi had their first child, Count Alvise Czarnocki Lucheschi, born in Brussels, Belgium on March 12th.

Archduke Ferdinand of Austria married Countess Katharina von Hardenberg civilly in Berlin-Zehlendorf on May 20th and religiously in the Friedenskirche in Potsdam on May 22nd.
[She is a daughter of Count Andreas von Hardenberg and Baroness Isa von Hahn and was born in Hamburg on April 4th, 1968.]

Archduchess Alexandra of Austria married Wilhelmus (Willem) de Wit in Lisbon, Portugal on June 19th.
[He is a son of Leonardus de Wit and Anna van Hazendonk and was born in Utrecht, The Netherlands on November 6th, 1965.]

Archduke Sigismund of Austria, Grand Duke of Tuscany married Elyssa Edmonstone in London on September 11th.
[She is a daughter of Sir Archibald Edmonstone, 7th Baronet and of Juliet Deakin and was born in Glasgow on September 11th, 1973.]

Archduke Karl of Austria and his wife Baroness Francesca Thyssen-Bornemisza de Kászon had their third child, Archuchess Gloria Maria Bogdana Paloma Regina Fiona Gabriella of Austria, born in Salzburg, Austria on October 15th.

Archduchess Kinga of Austria and her husband Baron Wolfgang von Erffa had their fifth child, Baroness Constanza von Erffa, born on October 23rd.

Countess Anna Maria von Meran (daughter of the late Count Philipp von Meran [himself a descendant of Archduke Johann of Austria and his morganatic wife Anna Plochl, who was created Countess von Meran] and of the late Countess Maria-Anna von und zu Eltz genannt Faust von Stromberg and wife of Baron Gordian von Gudenus) died in Vienna on November 15th.

BADEN

Princess Marie Louise of Baden married Richard Dudley Baker in Salem, Germany on September 25th.
[The civil ceremony had taken place in Salem on September 15th. He is a son of Harold Baker and Elisabeth Dudley and was born in Biddeford, Maine, USA on March 30th, 1936.]

BAVARIA

Countess Isabella von und zu Arco-Zinneberg genannt Bogen (great granddaughter of the late Princess Gundelinde of Bavaria) married Alexandre Stefanovich in Sankt-Martin, Austria in May.
[He is a son of Dragomir Stefanovich and Marie-Claude Vallet de la Noue Mangeard. He was born around 1969.]

Anne [of the barons] de Lustrac (widow of Prince Heinrich of Bavaria) died in Milano, Italy on August 16th.

BELGIUM

Prince Philippe of Belgium, Duke of Brabant married Jonkvrouw Mathilde [of the barons] d'Udekem d'Acoz in Brussels on December 4th.
[She is a daughter of Jonkheer Patrick d'Udekem d'Acoz, who was created a Count on his daughter's wedding day, and Countess Anne Komorowska and was born in Uccle, Belgium on January 20th 1973.]

BULGARIA

Crown Prince Kardam of Bulgaria, Prince of Tirnovo and his wife Miriam Ungria y López had their second son, Prince Beltrán of Bulgaria, born in Madrid on March 23th.

Prince Konstantin of Bulgaria, Prince of Vidin and his wife Maria Garcia de la Rasilla y Gortazar had their first two children, Prince Umberto of Bulgaria and Princess Sophia of Bulgaria, born on November 20th.

DENMARK

Count Valdemar af Rosenborg and his wife Charlotte Diane Isabelle Cruse had their second child, Countess Marie Geraldine Charlotte af Rosenborg, born in Copenhagen on May 7th.

Prince Joachim of Denmark and his wife Alexandra Manley had their first child, Prince Nikolai of Denmark, born in Copenhagen on August 28th.

Count Carl Johan af Rosenborg and his second wife Colette Vivian Cabral (daughter of Michael Richard Cabral and of Doris Evelyn Jamieson) had their first child [together], Countess Josephine Coco af Rosenborg, born at The Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London on June 24th.

FRANCE (BONAPARTE)

Astrid du Lau d'Allemans (granddaughter of the late Princess Clothilde Napoléon) and her husband François-René Letourneur had their third child, Hadrien Letourneur, born in February.

FRANCE (ORLÉANS)

Princess Clothilde of Orléans (daughter of Prince Michel of France, Count of Evreux) and her husband Edouard Crépy had their third son, Gaspard Crépy, born in Santiago, Chili, in March.

Count Louis de Limburg-Stirum (son of Princess Hélčne of France) and his wife Belén López y Montero had their first child, Count Jean de Limburg-Stirum, born in Uccle, Belgium on February 2nd.

Henri, Count of Paris died in Chérisy, France on June 19th.
[His eldest son and successor, Henri, now uses the titles of Count of Paris and Duke of France. His second wife Micaela is called Duchess of France. His eldest son François became Count of Clermont. The new Count of Paris also declared the marriages of his brothers Michel and the late Thibaud dynastic and restored them in their rights of succesion. As a result their children are now dynastic and have become Princes and Princesses of Orléans.]

Prince Eudes of France, Duke of Angoulęme married Marie-Liesse de Rohan-Chabot in a religious ceremony in Antrain-sur-Couesnon, Brittany, France, on July 10th. The civil ceremony took place in Dreux on June 19th.
[She is a daughter of Count Louis Mériadek de Rohan-Chabot (of the dukes de Rohan) and Princess Isabelle de Bauffremont-Courtenay and was born in Paris on June 25th, 1969.]

Prince Charles-Louis of Orléans, Duke of Chartres and his wife Ileana Manos had their second child, Princess Louise of Orléans, born on December 6th.

GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND

The Honourable Jeremy Lascelles (son of George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harewood, himself a son of the late Princess Mary, Princess Royal) married secondly Catherine Bell in Edinburgh in January.
[He had been divorced from Julie Baylis. She is a daughter of Colin Bell and of Catherine Thomson and was born in London on April 25th, 1965.]

The Honourable James Lascelles (son of George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harewood, himself a son of the late Princess Mary, Princess Royal) married thirdly Joy Elias-Rilwan on Anguilla, West Indies on January 30th.
[He was divorced from Fredericka Duhrsson and from Lori Lee. She is a Nigerian actress using the artist's name of "Joy Lemoine" and was born in Lagos, Nigeria on June, 15th 1954.]

Martin Lascelles (son of the late Honourable Gerald Lascelles [of the earls of Harewood], himself a son of the late Princess Mary, Princess Royal) married Charmaine Christine Eccleston.
[She is a daughter of Evansio Russell Eccleston. Martin Lascelles has an natural daughter by Carol Anne Douet (herself a daughter of Lloyd Constantine Douet and of Pearline Azaline Brown and born in London on May 4th, 1962), Georgina Elizabeth Douet Lascelles, born in London on December 22nd, 1988.]

Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones and her husband Daniel Chatto had their second son, Arthur Chatto, born in London on February 5th.

Prince Edward of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Earl of Wessex married Sophie Rhys-Jones in St.George's Chapel, Windsor on June 19th.
[She is a daughter of Christopher Rhys-Jones and Mary O'Sullivan and was born in Oxford on January 20th, 1965. Her paternal grandmother, Margaret Molesworth, wife of Theophilus Jones, belonged to the house of the Viscounts Molesworth. Prince Edward was created Earl of Wessex and Viscount Severn on his wedding-day. He will be Duke of Edinburgh after his father's death. Contrary to tradition his new wife has not become a Princess of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, but she did become a Royal Highness.]

David Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley and his wife the Honourable Serena Stanhope had their first son, the Honourable Charles Armstrong-Jones, born on July 1st.

GREECE

Princess Alexia of Greece married Carlos Morales y Quintana in London on July 9th.
[He is a son of Luis Miguel Morales y Armas and Maria Teresa Quintana y Gonzalez and was born in Arrecife de Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain on December 31st, 1970.]

HANOVER

Ernst August, Prince of Hanover married secondly Princess Caroline of Monaco in the Royal Palace in Monte Carlo on January 23th in a civil ceremony.
[He was divorced from Chantal Hochuli. She was divorced from Philippe Junot and a widow of Stefano Casiraghi.]

Prince Heinrich of Hanover married Thyra von Westernhagen in Teistungen im Eichsfeld on June 19th
[She is a daughter of Burkhard von Westernhagen and Uta Maria von Pape and was born in Oldenburg on August 14th, 1973.]

Ernst August, Prince of Hanover and his second wife Princess Caroline of Monaco had their first child [together], Princess Alexandra of Hanover, born in Vöcklabruck, Austria on July 20th.

Prince Heinrich of Hanover and his wife Thyra von Westernhagen had their first child [together], Prince Albert Thilo Ludwig Arndt of Hanover, born in Göttingen, Germany on December 14th.

Prince Otto of Hesse and his wife Carla Blickhauser had their first child, Prince Max of Hesse, born in Markredwitz on January 26th.

Princess Olga of Hesse (wife of Michel Savich) died in Istanbul, Turkey on February 14th.

Prince Heinrich of Hesse died at Schloss Wolfsgarten, Germany on November 18th.

Princess Elena of Hesse and her lover Massimo Caiazzo had their first child, Madeleine Caiazzo, born in Kiel, Germany on November 29th.

HOHENZOLLERN

Prince Emanuel Joseph of Hohenzollern died in Hechingen, Germany on February 8th.

Prince Ferfried of Hohenzollern married thirdly Maja Meinert in Dresden on March 19th.
[He was divorced from Angela von Morgen and from Eliane Etter.]

Count Constantin von Plettenberg (son of the late Count Egbert von Plettenberg and of the late Princess Luise-Dorothea of Hohenzollern) and his wife Baroness Harriet Rivalier von Meysenburg had their first child, Countess Franziska von Plettenberg, born in Frankfurt, Germany on March 22nd.

Prince Carl Christian of Hohenzollern (son of Princess Birgitta of Sweden) married Nicole Neschitsch in Kreuzpullach, Bavaria on July 8th.
[She is a daughter of Nikolaus Neschitsch and Margot Mayer and was born in Munich on January 22nd 1968.]

Princess Stephanie of Hohenzollern and her husband Count Hieronymus Wolff Metternich zur Gracht were divorced in Munich on July 20th.

Count Constantin von Plettenberg (son of the late Count Egbert von Plettenberg and of the late Princess Luise-Dorothea of Hohenzollern) married Baroness Harriet Rivalier von Meysenburg in Laurenau on August 8th in a religious ceremony. The civil ceremony had taken place in Frankfurt, Germany on September 16th, 1998.
[She is a daughter of Baron Carl-Erdmann Rivalier von Meysenburg and of Almuth von Treu and was born in Stadthagen, Germany on May 14th, 1966.]

LIECHTENSTEIN

Princess Gabrielle of Liechtenstein died in Geneva, Switzerland on March 5th.
[She was widow of Franz, Count von Kesselstatt and divorced from Harrison Day Blair.]

Prince Stefan of Liechtenstein (second son of Prince Alexander of Liechtenstein and of Princess Josephine of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg) and his wife Countess Florentine von Thun und Hohenstein had their fourth child, Princess Rita of Liechtenstein, born in Klagenfurt, Austria on March 27th.

Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein and his wife Princess Sophie of Bavaria had their third child, Prince Georg Antonius of Liechtenstein, born in Grabs, Switzerland on April 20th.

Princess Tatiana of Liechtenstein married Philipp von Lattorff in Vaduz on June 5th.
[He is a son of Claus-Jürgen von Lattorff and Countess Julia Batthyány de Német-Ujvár (of the princes Batthyány-Strattmann de Német-Ujvár) and was born in Graz, Austria on March 25th, 1968.]

Prince Vincenz of Liechtenstein married secondly Roberta Valeri Manera (civilly) in Vaduz, Liechtenstein on May 20th and (religiously) in Venice, Italy on June 19th.
[He was divorced from Hélčne de Cossé-Brissac. She is a daughter of Mario Valeri Manera and Maria ........ and was born in Milan, Italy on February 12th, 1953.]

Prince Constantin of Liechtenstein married Countess Marie Kálnoky de Körospatak in Csicsó, Slovakia on July 17th.
[She is a daughter of Count Alois Kálnoky de Körospatak and Baroness Sieglinde von Oer and was born in Graz, Austria on July 16th, 1975. Of her five older sisters Alexandra married Prince Emanuel of Liechtenstein in 1995 and Ilona married Prince Ferdinand of Hohenzollern in 1996.]

Countess Ethel Rietberg (wife of Richard [of the baronets] Onslow and daughter of the late Prince Ferdinand of Liechtenstein and his morganatic wife Shelagh [of the baronets] Brunner, who had been created Countess Rietberg, died on November 14th.
[She had been divorced from her first husband Klaus Bruno von Brehm.]

Pieter van der Byl (husband of Princess Charlotte of Liechtenstein) died in Fairfield, South Africa on November 15th.

Princess Nikola of Lippe (daughter of Prince Ernst-Leopold of Lippe and of Katrin Hein) and her husband Olaf Grünberg had their first child, Benedikt Lukas Grünberg, born on February 15th.

Countess Benedicta von Magnis (former wife of Prince Ernst August of Lippe) and her second husband Jan Jonker Roelants had their first child [together], Alexandra Caroline Jonker Roelants, born on March 25th.

Princess Julia of Lippe (daughter of Prince Ernst-Leopold of Lippe and of Katrin Hein) married Joachim Tiedau in Blomberg-Cappel, Germany on June 25th.

OLDENBURG

Baron Rudolf von Erffa (second son of Baron Rüdiger von Erffa and of Duchess Altburg of Oldenburg) and his wife Katharina Belzer von Albertis (third daughter of Klaus Belzer von Albertis and of Baroness Dorothea von Enzberg) had their first child, Baroness Johanna Barbara Maria von Erffa, born in Kronach on April 16th.

PARMA

Prince Charles-Emanuel of Bourbon of Parma and his wife Constance de Ravinel had their fourth child, Princess Zita of Bourbon of Parma, born on April 1st.

Le Prince Michel of Bourbon of Parma and his wife Princesse Yolande de Broglie-Revel divorced in Versailles, France in November.

PORTUGAL

Duarte Joao, Duke of Bragança and his wife Isabel-Inés de Castro Curvelho de Herédia had their third child, Infant Diniz of Portugal, born on November 25th.

PRUSSIA

Princess Micaela of Prussia (eldest daughter of Prince Michael of Prussia and of his first wife Jutta Jörn) married Jürgen Wessuly around September. [He was born in 1962 or 1963.]

REUSS

Countess Feodora von Pückler (second wife of Prince Heinrich Enzio Reuss, Count of Plauen) died on April 8th.

Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss, Count of Plauen died in Glumslöv near Landskrona, Sweden on October 29th.
[He was married to Annifrid Lyngstad, a member of the former music group ABBA. Before that he had been divorced from Metta Rinde.]

ROUMANIA

Princess Sophia of Roumania and her husband Alain-Michel Biarneix had their first child, Elisabeta-Maria Biarneix, born in Paris on Aug 15th.

RUSSIA

Prince Rostislav Rostislovitch Romanoff (son of the late Prince Rostislav Aleksandrovitch of Russia) died in London on January 7th.

Prince Michael Pavlovich Romanovsky-Ilyinsky (son of Prince Paul Dmitrievich Romanovsky-Ilyinsky and of his second wife Angelica Philippa Kauffmann) married thirdly Lisa Marie Schiesler on May 21st.
[She was born on May 17th, 1973. He had been divorced from his first wife Marcia Lowe in 1987 and from his second wife Paula Maier in 1996 and has a daughter by his second wife, Princess Alexis Taylor Romanovsky-Ilyinsky, born on March 31st 1994.]

Princess Natalija Romanovsky-Iskander (daughter of the late Prince Aleksander Romanovsky-Iskander [himself a son of the late Grand Duke Nikolaj of Russia]) died in Moscow on July 24th, 1999.
[She had been married to Nikolaj Dostal.]

Sir George Kennard, Baronet (second husband of Georgina [of the baronets] Wernher, herself a granddaughter of the late Grand Duke Michail of Russia) died on December 13th.

Olga Tikhonovna Kulikovsky (granddaughter of Nikolai Aleksandrovich Kulikovsky and Grand Duchess Olga Aleksandrovna of Russia) and her husband José Cordeiro had their third child, born at the end of the year.

SAXE-COBURG AND GOTHA

Prince Carl-Eduard of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and his wife Stephanie Kollo had their first child, Princess Emilia of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, born on March 24th.

Alessandro Nicolis (second son of Felice Nicolis [dei conti di Robilant] and of Amelie von Heller [herself the eldest daughter of the late Eduard von Heller and of the late Princess Klementine of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha]) and his companion Anna La Rosa had their second child (together), Francesco Nicolis, born on July 1st.
[Their first child, Marie Nicolis was born on November 9th, 1996. Alessandro Nicolis had been divorced from Donata Pizzi. He also has two children by his former companion Monica Monticelli, Carlo Nicolis, born on December 28th, 1988, and Vittoria Nicolis, born on November 28th, 1990.]

Alexander von Sachsen [formerly Alexander Afif] (eldest son of the late Roberto Afif and of Princess Maria Anna of Saxony and adopted son of his uncle Maria Emanuel, Markgrave of Meissen) and his wife Princess Gisela of Bavaria had their fourth child, Maria Teresita von Sachsen, born on July 8th.

SCHAUMBURG-LIPPE

Arved, Count von Stackelberg (son of the late Karl-Georg, Count von Stackelberg and of Princess Viktoria-Luise of Schaumburg-Lippe) married Anna Kristina von Trotha in Bad Aibling, Bavaria, Germany on December 30th, 1999.
[She is a of daughter Hartmut von Trotha and of Ursula Tappen and was born in San José, Costa Rica, on January 15th 1969.]

TWO SICILIES

Princess Urraca of Bourbon-Sicily died in Sigmaringen, Germany on May 3rd.

Frédéric Denizot (son of Michel Denizot and Maria Christina di Borbone [dei conti di Roccaguglielma]) will marry Ariane de Pineton de Chambrun.

SPAIN

Beatriz Moreno y de Borbón (daughter of Princess Teresa of Bourbon) and her husband Lucas Urquijo y Fernández-Araoz had their second child, Juan Urquijo y Moreno, born in January.

Fernando de Baviera y Mesia (son of the late Infante José Eugenio of Spain) died on March 15th.

Elena (dei conti) Farini (daughter of Beatriz de Orleans y Parodi Delfino) married Joaquín Fernández de Córdoba y de Haro in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain on June 19th.
[He is a son of Joaquín de Haro y Rodas and Consuelo Fernández de Córdoba y Ybarra and was born in Tomares, Sevilla, Spain on June 23rd 1971.]

Fernando de Borbón y de Medina (son of Alfonso de Borbón y Pérez de Pulgar [of the dukes de Sevilla]) married María Vallejo y Miras in Sevilla, Spain on September 17th.
[She is a daughter of José Vallejo y Osorno and Angeles Miras y Vilches.]

Infanta Cristina of Spain, Duchess of Palma de Majorca and her husband Ińaki Urdangarín y Liebaert had their first child, Juan Urdangarín y de Borbón in Barcelona, Spain on September 29th.

Prince Antoni Radziwill (son of Prince Stanislaw Radziwill and Lee Bouvier) died on August 10th.
[He was a nephew of the late Jacqueline Bouvier, widow of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, President of the United States, and therefore a first cousin of the recently deceased John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr.]

Princess Anna Krystyna Radziwill (daughter of Prince Stanislaw Radziwill and Lee Bouvier) married Ottavio Arancio in Siracusa, Sicily, Italy in September.
[He is a son of Enrico Arancio and Paola ...... and was born on Sicily around 1957.]
