Our Family Photos

This is our family, some of these people we had the pleasure of knowing; others were gone before we had a chance to meet them. So in this way we are bringing them together. Come browse with us:

Laurenia (aka: Flossie)Martin

This is my grandmother, Flossie (Martin) Householder. This picture was taken in approximately 1921. In the original picture there are two small children with her. On the back of the picture was written "Congressman Zermmerman's (could be Zimmerman) Babysitter". A family member has suggested, however; that she used to babysit for the Nealy family. And no one can figure out the location of this picture. Grandma is one of the ones we never met, she died on January 7, 1941, when my father was 8 1/2 years old.

Elbert Lee Householder

This is my grandfather, another one of those that I never got to meet. Elbert went by the name of Jack, after his wife died he moved his children to Clay County, Arkansas to be by his family. Then on August 23, 1941; just 6 days after his youngest son (my father) turned 9 years old, Jack lost his life to Typhoid Fever.

5 Generations to Celebrate

This picture was taken on August 18, 1996. The day we had my 1st granddaughter baptised. In the back is Crystal Lorraine Hood (mother), Linda Lou (Householder) Corman (grandmother). Sitted is Charlene (Brown) Householder (great-grandmother), Margaret (Lavinski) Brown (great-great-grandmother), and Brittany LeeAnn Hood. Margaret Brown came from Scotland in 1926, so Brittany is one of the 4th generation to be born in this Country. On January 22, 2000 Margaret (Lavinski) Brown, passed away peacefully, exactly 2 months shy of her 93rd birthday.
