Disgyn Iesu o'th gynteddoedd

Disgyn, Iesu, o'th gynteddoedd,
  Lle mae moroedd mawr o hedd;
Gwêl bechadur sydd yn gorwedd
  Ar ymylon oer y bedd;
    Rho i mi brofi
  Pethau nad adnabu'r byd.

Rho oleuni, rho ddoethineb,
  Rho dangnefedd f'o'n parhau,
Rho lawenydd heb ddim diwedd,
  Rho faddeuant am bob bai;
    Triged D'Ysbryd
  Yn Ei deml dan fy mron.

Ynot mae fy iechydwriaeth,
  Ynteu yn wir mi lwfwrhawn;
Ac mae'r poenau a ddioddefaist
  Ar Galfaria yn berffaith Iawn
    Tros bechodau
  'R pechaduriaid dua eu lliw.

Yn y ffynon hon agorwyd
  Yn Dy ystlys ar y pren,
'R wyf fi'n d'od, â'm gwisg yn aflan,
  Idd ei chànu'n awr yn wen:
    Mi ddôf allan,
  Fel yr eira ar y bryn.

gwelir:
  Rho oleuni rho ddoethineb
  Wrth dy orsedd 'r wyf yn gorphwys

Descend, Jesus, from thy courts,
  Where there are great seas of peace;
See a sinner who is lying
  On the cold brink of the grave;
    Grant me to experience
  Things the world does not know.

Give light, give wisdom,
  Give peace which will endure,
Give joy without any end,
  Give forgiveness for every fault;
    May Thy Spirit reside
  In His temple beneath my breast.

In thee is my salvation,
  Or else I would truly lose heart;
And the pains thou didst suffer
  On Calvary as a perfect Atonement
    For the sins
  Of the sinners of blackest colour.

In this fount opened
  In Thy side on the tree,
I am coming, with my clothing dirty,
  To its bleaching white now:
    I will come out,
  Like the snow on the hill.
