Peiriant i gerddor parawd,
        - areithfa
    Yr wythfus a'r ddwyfawd;
  Tery eithaf tri wythawd,
  Eurllaes gorff i arllwys gwawd.

A machine prepared for a musician,
        - a platform
    For the eight fingers and the two thumbs;
  It strikes the span of three octaves,
  A loose, golden body to pour scorn.
