Faith Lutheran Preschool strives to

ADMISSION POLICY
Faith Lutheran Preschool is a
Christian preschool serving the
community. Children of all races and
religions are welcome. Faith
Preschool does not discriminate on
the basis of race, color, or national or
ethnic origin in administration of its
educational policies, admission
policies, scholarship program, or any
other school-administered programs.
DAILY ACTIVITIES
CIRCLE TIME: Devotion,
development of the theme for the day,
calendar and weather charts.
LEARNING ACTIVITIES: Math,
science, social studies, language arts,
crafts, cooking, and other activities.
There may be some paperwork, but
the emphasis is on activities.
CENTER TIME: Children choose
activities at different centers in the
room, such as puzzles, blocks, books,
painting, art, and dramatic play.
LARGE MUSCLE MOTOR
ACTIVITIES: Outside free play or
group games and large muscle
activities inside.
ARTS & CRAFTS: Cutting, pasting,
painting, etc.
STORY TIME: Sitting quietly in a
circle and listening to a story.
SNACK TIME: Table prayers and
practicing manners.

CLASSES
PRESCHOOL
(Three year olds and four year olds)
Must be three years old by July 1st.
Meet: Tuesdays and Thursdays from
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Emphasis is on social skills, color
recognition, shape recognition, and
large and fine motor development.
Registration limit: 12 per class
PREKINDERGARTEN
(Four year olds and five year olds)
Must be four years old by July 1st.
Meet: Mondays, Wednesdays, and
Fridays
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Emphasis is on pre-reading skills,
letter recognition, counting, math
skills, and beginning writing skills.
Registration Limit: 16 per class
