Thanks to AngelFire for the chance to show off a vintage 1972 Discoverer Motorhome. This MoPar powered rig was manufactured by RECTRANS (White Motor Co.) in 1972 and is powered by a Dodge 413 engine. It looks very much like the NASA space shuttle and was radically different than anything else on the market in its day. The all fiberglass sandwich structure (steel cage frame) served our family well as an amateur radio communications rig as well as a family traveler. From 1984 to 2000 it will allowed our family to see much of this great country.
