ADVANTIGES & DISADVANTIGES

Characters may have advantiges or disadvantiges that affects them in different ways. They are bought at the time of creation, before the skills are bought. Both gives an amount of points, depending on wich once are shoosen. Some of them can give few or many points depending on how big the shoosen advanige or disadvantige is.

When you have shoosen advantiges and/or disadvantiges, count the points for advantiges and sum them, and the same with the disadvantiges. If the character has more points from the advantiges, his skill-dice are reduced with as many pips as the "overweight" of advantige points. If the character has more points from the disadvantiges, his skill-dice are increased with as many pips as the "overweight" of disadvantige points.
Example: A character is given the advantiges "Acute hearing" wich costs 6 points, and "Obscure knowledge" wich costs 3 points. This gives a total of 9 points.
He is also given the disadvantige "Bad liar" wich gives 6 points.
When comparing the advantige total (9) and the disadvantige total (6), it is clear that in this case we have an advantige overweight of 3 (9-6=3) (3 pips = 1D). When this character is buying skills, he will have 6 skill dice instead of 7, to place on skills.

Example 2: A character is given the advantige "Fast reflexes". He shooses a mild version wich costs 3 points.
He is also given the disadvantige "Vision impairment". This time he shooses a severe version wich gives 8 points.
When comparing the advantige total (3) and the disadvantige total (9), it is clear that in this case we have a disadvantige overweight of 5 (9-3=6) (6 pips = 2D). When this character is buying skills, he will have 9D instead of 7D, to place on skills.

Since originally I did not make the list over the advantiges and the disadvantiges, I only borowed a few of them to show you a sample, and linked to the real page. That page however, does not exist any more, and I have also altered the list somewhat. So I have decided to put up as much of the list as I can, and simply make it all clear that THIS IS NOT ALL MY IDEA.

So far I have added a few of my own "inventions" (Fast reflexes, Hard Knuckles, Regeneration, Strong Hands and Violent Background, Bad Memory) to the list. I have also developed "Obscure Knowledge" a bit.

"Obscure Knowledge" 2 +1D in area
Regeneration 10 Add +2 when making healing rolls.
Strong Hands 3 +1 Brawling and Lifting. +1D Climbing.
Toughness 2,4,6 +1/step on STR rolls vs. Damage. +1/step in stammina
Violent Background 4,8,12 +1/step Brawling, Brawling parry, Melee combat and melee parry.
