Anchored Soul is a band consisting of THREE members:
Brian Vance...vocals, drums
Paula Prather...vocals, bass, keys
Terry Prather...vocals, guitar
Anchored Soul began at Oakland City University. Ermil Wilhite, Paula Vance, and Terry
Prather met in August of 1996 at the university. They quickly realized the similarity in their beliefs and hobbies. Favoring an acoustic sound,
the three began writing songs, many of which are on the band's debut album.
Paula's brother, Brian, began filling in as the drummer for the three.
A few months later, he joined Anchored Soul.
Ermil left the band on good terms in April of 1997.
