Rollie stepped into the shop exhausted. Loosening his tie he walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a soda. Turning around he found a very angry looking Angie staring up at him.

"Where've you been all night?" She asked.

"Um.....Helping Mira and Francis with a case," Rollie told her preparing for the worse.

"Of course! Where else would you be on our one year anniversary since we started dating! Wait I know how 'bout with me!" Angie shouted throwing a pillow at Rollie, missing him.

Rollie looked down at his feet, like a little kid who did something wrong and was getting yelled at by his mother. "I'm sorry."

"That's your only excuse. Your sorry?" Angie replied standing up from the couch. "Why would you agree to help them tonight anyways?"

"I don't know why." Rollie told her with his head still down. "Okay, maybe I do know why."

"Okay. So why?" Angie persisted.

"I was nervous," Was all he offered.

"Nervous? Nervous about what?" Angei asked, who wasn't in the mood for this.

"Nervous about a question I had planned to ask you." Rollie told her.

"What question?" Angie asked becoming curious.

Rollie put the soda can down the table next to him. He figured if he didn't tell...ask....her now he might never do it. Reaching into one of his jacket pockets he pulled out a small jewelry box.

"What's that?" Angie asked, though she already had a feeling what it was and what Rollie's question was.

"A ring. For you." Rollie said opening a box and showing it to her.

It was the prettiest thing Angie ever saw. Sterling silver, with set with emerald, ruby, and sapphire in gold.

"Rollie, it's beautiful." Angie told him, looking back and fourth from the ring and Rollie.

"I found it in an antique store." Rollie told her, placing the ring on her finger.

"Angie, would you marry me?" Rollie asked nervously.

With tears in her eyes Angie answered, "Yes."
