Well, a dictionary definition would be that a nexus is a place where two or more things meet, or join.
Okay, okay. So what's this about Nexus with a capital N?
That's just a name for this big place where a lot of places intersect. You can get just about anywhere from there, if you can find the right way through. Or, you can just spend some time there, itself. There's lots of variety.
Or, as the founder, Dan, put it..
