Huh? What's all this?
That's some of the philosophy of the Order of Knights Psionic, more commonly referred to as the Psionic Knights.
Psionics? Like telepathy, you mean?
Well, not all telepathy is psionic, nor is all psionics telepathy. Psionics is the awareness and use of one's internal energy to produce desired effects.
So how's that different from magic?
Magic is the awareness and shaping of external energy. It is, at the least, much more obvious than psionics when put in use, though both can be used to produce many similar effects.
Okay, okay, I get the idea. So, who are the Psionic Knights?

Members of the Psionic Knights go through tests to advance. There are four tests- the first is a test of Power, to see if the candidate has the ability to accomplish the hard tasks ahead. The second test is a test of Timing, or Patience, to see if they have the self-control to see and utilize the proper chance. The third test is a test of Diplomacy, to see if they can be 'civilized' and blend into courts. The last test is a test of Faith. This test is almost never spoken of, and only those who have passed it know its true nature. Many of the 'Master Knights', those who have passed the fourth test, have rumors of miracles surrounding them, which are, more often than not, true.
The Psionic Knights are split into two specialties- the fighters and the scouts. The fighters have a more structured command system, while the scouts are better at getting into and out of tight situations and, well, scouting.
