How do I join?

Joining the Nexus newsgroup is easy. However, I strongly recommend you read through the FAQ first. The idea of Nexus comes from the role-playing system of the same name, but this newsgroup is not about the role-playing system. It's alright to post action as taking place in some of the places in that game (eg. "Angel city"), but don't expect any of us to know something 'obvious' that's part of the game. Most of us have never played the game or even heard of the system until Dan introduced the idea to us.

There are three ways to hook into the group..

1) You can send an email to the majordomo address below with the message "subscribe nexus [your email address here]"
2) You can subscribe to it as a newsgroup- alt.games.shared-world.nexus- using your own news reader.
3) If you can't get it on your news reader, you can use Dejanews. It's not that bad a news reader, and it keeps everything unless you personally delete a post that you made that you don't want to remain there.
