Which way are you heading?
John 14:6.....Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.
Have you met Jesus, who is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE?
Your soul is your most valued possession. Do you know where you would go if you died? Would you go to heaven or would you go to hell?
Matthew 16:26.....For what is a man profiteth, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Everything else is nothing compared with your soul. You may have untold riches, a good job, health, eyesight, hearing, however...they are NOTHING compared with your soul. It should be your prime interest!
Hebrew 9:27.....It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.
Romans 14:10, 12.....for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ, and every tongue shall confess to God.
There will be no excuse:
"I lived a good life"
Romans 3:12.....There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Romans 3:23.....All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Isaiah 64:6.....We are all as an unclean thing, all our righteousness are as filthy rags.
"I couldn't be saved; I was too bad"
1 Timothy 1:15.....Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
"Too many hypocrites in the church"
Romans 14:12.....Every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
"I was working at it; I went to church, paid my debts, and never hurt anyone"
Ephesians 2:8,9.....for by grace are ye saved through faith...it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.
"I was going to get saved but had things to straighten out first"
2 Corinthians 6:2.....NOW is the day of salvation.
You could go on and on for every excuse under the sun, however, no excuse will suffice on that day of judgement. We all will give account for our own lives, not anyone elses. wouldn't you like to have all your sins erased; completely forgiven and forgotten by God, and the opportunity to start over as if you had never sinned? Wouldn't you like to be in a royal family--a child of a King? Wouldn't you like to be a citizen of a country where no one will evey be sick, not even have a pain, nor shed a tear, nor grow old; where there will be no more war, nor death, but only peace and joy forever with the Creator of the Universe providing everything? The Word says that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9) I pray that this has touched someone today.
