Hello this is Amanda and this is my ROCKY BIO. Above is a picture of me and as my character. Please visit my personal website: Reality's A Crutch I first joined the cast June of 1997 as Columbia (Towards the bottom and to the left is a pic). Back then we still had a lot of the old "Satanic Mechanix" cast members. Well by October the whole cast except me left to pursue a new theatre in Speedway. I quickly pulled my resources together and got a full costumed cast. I drug Ande Fisher back and he's still our Brad today. Well since I've seen this movie way to many times I took on the role of Frank and made my costume. Making a Frank costume is MUCH easier than a columbia one! Let me tell you it's not fun to sew all those sequins-but I did it!
Well about three months after the cast was back up on it's feet and audience member who went by the name "Persephone Elvira" told us she was our new fearless leader and that the old one "Lot" had appointed her. Well we thought-hey we could use the help. But then she started taking over everything and I spoke to some people and no one had actually appointed her she just got in the way. The only thing she really did was provide a few props and sit back and take the credit for our hard work. Well I quit the cast one day with a lot of the best members, tired of her. Then she started sending threatening letters to the cast members, but mainly Vanessa Spencer and I. My parents started opening my mail and said I could never go again. But they recently kicked her out and now I'm back and we're all trying to pull things back together again.
I'm glad I've got great people like Neil, Michael, Victor, Chase, and Julie-Rae to run the show! But we're going to need help from some others: yeah you reading this now! Any help you can be is great, whether it's crew or cast. If you can supply props, make costumes, get friends involved... anything please email me
I got into rocky when I was in 12. The first time I saw the movie I walked into a room and one of my friends was watching it and it was the end where Frank died and I thought to myself damn this is weird, I like it. Then they rewound and showed me the time warp and sweet transvestite scene. I immediately feel in love with Riff, Magenta, and Frank. Though I hated columbia whom I'm seen playing to the right! I guess she grew on me, after all I played her for a year. Well, I didn't see the movie all the way through the first time. I saw it a few months later at a friends house and was hooked.
Personal stuff: I'm really into Industrial and underground music. Bands I like: FRONT 242, PSYCHOTICA, Girls Against Boys, Thrill Kill Kult, TOOL, Front Line Assembly, KMFDM, UnderWorld, Skinny Puppy, Gravity Kills, SNOT, Joy Division, Siousxie and the Banshees, The Cure, Bad Religion, Deftones, GodHead, Crystal Method, Throbbing Gristle, Violent Femmes, Operation Ivy, Lords of Acid....etc.
