Bacterial Meningitis Transmission

Bacterial meningitis is a communicable disease. You can easily get meningitis from saliva of an infected person. You can also get it from coughs and sneezes of an infected person. If a person who has been infected with bacterial meningitis comes in close contact with other people, all of the people should be tested for the disease and treated because it is highly contagious.
