Illinois 89 is a north-south route running from Metamora through Spring Valley to La Moille near the east end of IL92. Its northern part connects many small towns to I-80 and Spring Valley

US6 joins it north at Spring Valley

IL29 meets it at its northern end

US6 leaves west
