-- In Friday's league game, the Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville,
IL) football team beat the visiting Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL),
by a score of 34-7.
The Bluestreaks (1-6) will now
prepare for their game against Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL). The Salukis
enter the Little Illini game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Red
Hill notched a victory over Cumberland (Bridgeport, IL), 28-16, in a
league game.
The Lions (0-7) will now prepare for
their game against Oblong (Oblong, IL). The Panthers enter the Little
Illini game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Oblong notched a
victory over Marshall (Oblong, IL), 49-14, in a league game.
