The Sin Movement article...
These guys are home grown and raw so we fucking love them man. Our favs are rap raven and bomb...they're all good. If you think these guys are like every other dude in east london chatting shit down a mic in their bedrooms you are ver much mistaken. Quick look at their profiles - copy and pasted straight off their own site -

Name: Jerome White aka Rap Raven, Jerome "Legend" White
Status: Rapper, Producer, Graphic Designer, Host,
Rap Raven has been making Hip-Hop songs since 98, when he used to produce songs on his Playstaion. Ever since he started going to New-Vic Collage in 99 Raven has been Recording solo and other artists projects. Raven is the CEO and Co founder of Sin Movement Records, a Company Made in Bombs House in 98. Album covers and Net designing were other skills he perfected at New Vic Collage. Raven was an actor way before rapper, and he brings a lot of his experience to his Performing and Hosting at events. Raven now Designs Produces and Engineers in his house.

Name: Bomb
Status: Rapper, Graphic Designer, photographer
Bomb has always been into hip-hop but first began rapping in 1998. He made his first song by playing an instrumental and rapping at the same time, which didn't allow any room for mistakes or it meant starting all over again.
Bomb decided to make an album in 2001 after making appearances on Ravens albums and realising he had enough material and ideas to make his own. Since then he has made 2 other projects and made guest appearances on many other albums. Bombs rapping is always progressing but he still doesn't feel he has reached his full potential. He tries to make songs that reflect the way he feels, he wants his emotions to come through on the tracks as he thinks this is when he makes his best songs. He says "you've got to really feel and believe in what you're saying or it just comes across as weak and fake, you shouldn't be rapping about being pissed off and angry unless you really are. That's why I have to be in the right frame of mind when recording certain songs. Cus I cant do it if the feelings not there". Bomb always wants his next project to be better than the last and is always trying new ideas, because he feels if your not progressing there's no point.
He is influenced by many different music forms and artists not just hip hop, Bomb wants to be known for his own style and sound because he feels that the best rappers are the ones with a unique style. Whereas 'so many just blend into the background cus they sound like everyone else'.

The Saint came through poetry.

('The beats', Marc feat. The Saint.)
"..Dont hessitate its The Saint
give me a minute and I shall penetrate,
I dedicate this 2ur vehicle speakers
bang it in da clubs every single weekend"

Jr T the rapper actor and model was formally an RnB singer, he has made various unrealesed material.
You can hear Jr T on Bomb's album 'on the brink of madness' he also has a solo track on nine foundations 'Hermit soundtrack' which is yet to be realesed. Watch out for some new solo material coming soon on S.I.N Movement
Jr T a.k.a Boy Wonder a.k.a Taofeeq the Freak. Yes one of the original members of S.I.N Movement has returned and this time with his head on straight. "A man without a plan aint no man. And I be the boy with a serious game plan. So I guess I'm no longer a boy but a man."

With Thunders acting and dancing background he helps host show along side Rap Raven. Thunder will mainly be producing club Remix's for artist as will as promoting The Empire of Sin Movement on Radio

The scorpion also known as 'The Lurking One' (amongst many other names)
Is always poised and ready to strike death into anyone who touches it.
But they are mostly quiet unless provoked.
"Don't make me angry! You wouldn't like me when I get angry."
David Banner

(Newham, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Redbridge) Scorpion always wanted to be a performer.
With stage, television, and radio credits already under his belt, he looks to further his skill base with his love of Hip-Hop, and comics.
A natural storyteller, who seeks to tell these stories across the many mediums and formats available, expect to see and hear a lot of great things from this jack of all trades.

LH News!
With her first new music in four years, hip-hop artist Lauryn Hill decided to strip away as many production barriers as possible so she could communicate directly to her audience.

The end result is a double-CD of more than 90 minutes of music with just Hill's voice and her strumming or plucking an acoustic guitar.

This is a daring experiment, but, except for a few songs - including "Just Want You Around" and "Mystery of Iniquity" - too many of the tunes sound the same and render this recording a curiosity as opposed to a major work.

8 mile soundtrack review...
If Eminem is receiving Oscar-level praise for his work in "8 Mile" the movie, don't expect him to win a Grammy for the movie's soundtrack. While it is refreshing to hear Eminem rap about anything other than his mother/daughter/Moby/himself on the songs "Lose Yourself" and "8 Mile," Eminem only raps on five of the sixteen songs on the soundtrack.

What fills the rest of the album are unimpressive tracks from regularly impressive artists like Nas, Gangstarr, and Macy Gray. Jay-Z works on one of his least impressive beats ever and uses his contribution, "8 Miles and Running" to promote his forthcoming double album. Xzibit continues to bounce on his Fisher Price xylophone beats on "Spit Shine." And Eminem protégé Obie Trice introduces himself on "Adrenaline Rush" by cursing as much as he possibly can. Veteran rapper Rakim may do the album the most harm, however, as he was apparently "inspired by the motion picture" to rap about himself on "R.A.K.I.M."

The only non-Eminem bright spot on this album is 50 Cent, who on "Love Me" talks about how he used to respect artists like R. Kelly, Lauryn Hill, and D'Angelo in what is actually a rather sensible manner.

Would you still have love for me girl

50 Cent
If I fell off tomorrow would you still love me?
If I didn't smell so good would you still hug me?
If I got locked up and sentenced to a quater century
Could I count on you to be there to support me mentally?
If I went back to a hoopty from a benz would you poof
and disappear like some of my friends
If I was hit and I was hurt would you be by my side?
If it was time to put it to work would you be down to ride ?
I'd get out and kill a nigga cat chill n' drive
Im askin questions to find out how you feel inside
If I ain't rap because I flip burgers at Burger King
would you tell ya freiends that ya fellin me
In the bed if I used my tongue would you like that?
If I wrote you a love letter would you write back?
Now we can have a lil drink you know a night cap
We can go do what you like
I know you like that

(Chorus, Nate Dogg)

50 Cent
Now would you leave me if your father found out I was thuggin'?
Do you believe me when I tell you ya the one I'm lovin'?
Are you mad cuz I'm askin 21 questions?
Are you my soul mate?
Cuz if so you a blessin'
Do you trust me enough to tell me ya dreams?
I'm starin' at chu tryin' to figure out how you got in them jeans
If I was down would you say things to make me smile?
I'll treat you how you wanna be treated just teach me how
If I was wit some other chick and someone happened to see
And when you ask me about it I say it wasn't me
Would you believe me?
Or up and leave me?
How deep is our hearts on it?
If thats all it takes to be gone?
We humans girl we make mistakes
To make it up I'll do whatever it takes
I love you like a fat kid loves cake
You know my style
I'll do anything to make ya smile

(Chorus, Nate Dogg)

Could you love me in a family?
Could you love me on a bus?
I asked you 21 questions and they all bout us

No more focus, hobo's got a career
And I like your brassiere and there's a party in here
And I'm ready to talk naughty in Veronica's ear

Put it to the side and invite here to "Cheers"
Pull up a chair, swear no drama
Therefore player your workin with a MONSTER (*yelling*)
I ain't got time to waste, let's vacate the place
Shut blinds and drapes, grind to your face in a grimy state
Concentrate, you will find that your bound to get
But we found what's fate
We can watch two incredible mates masterbate
Why settle and wait
Let's escalate to the nearest who bang
To your rear is on the mirrors and they smearin booty cheeks

(Chorus) - 2X

Now sing along when the DJ throws it on
And if I leave here tonight and I fall asleep
And wake up, (*sound of water dropping*), hopefully she got some teeth

The DJ's playin Obie song on the steady-o
And she's impaired and she wants to be headin home
With the real thing not the dildo clone
And I know I don't wanna be headin home
With some double D's full of silicon
Ten hoodrat chicks surround me outside
Found me outside, clown me outside
'Til I flip out and they found me outside
Cussin at the bitches screamin "off to they rides!"
