JAITE PAPER MILL
The Jaite Paper Mill is located on a trail just past Brandywine/ Dover Lake on the same side of the street, it sits about a 1/4 mile or so down the trail. Jaite was built in 1906 and renovated to fit an overhead crane and a fourdinier ( a machine that allowed continuous paper web) in 1926-27. The mill closed in 1984 and has become one hell of a ruin in the last 18 years or so. I'm not saying I was ever in this mill but I don't recommend going inside the mill first of all I know this area is patrolled and trespassing tickets are given out, also the building is in bad shape, as you can see in the pics below many sections of the roof have caved in along with some of the walls. Parts of the building have a basement and the floors above are made of old damp rotted wood. So if you do decide to trespass don't bitch if the roof caves in on you or if you get busted by local authorities.
DO NOT TRESPASS
