To be fair, this is not said in a condescending, holier-than-thou kind of way, as I am not a religious person, but it's just kind of disheartening to see. It seems to be a common post-church activity to go smoke a few bowls and throw back a few. All of this would be bad enough, but to make matters worse, I have had people try to convince me to turn to Christianity, showing their concern for me not going to heaven, whilst apparently not going there themselves. This has gotten me some shit over the years, and I have this weird notion it has contributed to my lack of popularity.
The very least they could do is not judge, as the good book says 'Judge not lest ye be judged' or something to that effect. No one listens. If I were into that, I'd pray for the souls of everyone in this town.
