I'm gonna throw this party for my friends. It is a ghetto electro disco. No fancy mixing or anything. I'm gonna spin some records and hopefully people will dance... "shake that booty girl! Let me see what you got!"

Hello all yall!

I saw Juan Atkins at Kerma. Pretty good gig although I liked his older stuff better. They played some electro and some Dj Assault songs at the other side of the club.

I'm going to visit Pori next friday. You see there is this iaido camp there. I'm trying to graduate 1 dan in iaido.

Oh yeah! I attended this theme(split personality this time) party. I had this old puppet with me. I spent most of my time talking to these people from Hameenlinna. About politics and other shit.

I'm gonna participate in this Necromunda special scenario. 3(?) gangs versus some Imperial Guard... It sounds pretty rough.

We continued our Hellboy campaign. This time the crew was sent to Antarctis to investigate this strange black pyramid. We are gonna continue it next week.

I'm studying Finlands prehistory because I'm trying to get enrolled in Helsinki University's archaelogy department. 1 of the books I have to read is in Swedish:(

I saw that movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" starring Jim Carrey and that chick from "Titanic". I'm not a fan of either of these actors but I was surprised by how good this movie was. Way deeper than most films of this genre(love?) and it's structure was interesting. Go see it!

I'm having a terrible headache.

What did I do yesterday?

I saw my pal Petteri and drank some soda with him. It was nice to see him because I hadn't seen him in a while.

Later on I went to see Hannu. We drank some beer on the way to otaniemi... you see there was this party: "cheap beer and hot women!" he said and encouraged me to come along(10.3.04). I thought: "what the hell I should give it a try!".

resolution:

I'm at the j2imaluola waiting for a buss to leave(5.45), no pussy for me, just a headache.

Don't get me wrong... I'm not bitter at all. I don't set my expectations too high these days.

1. thing was nice though: Rudy and these 2 other rap guys did a short freestyle set there which was funny.


Today we are gonna get this data projector and start our video-marathon. Classic sci-fi etc.

I ran this rpg scenario for Empa, Pietari and Anni. It was Hellboy rpg and it was situated in northern India. Missing children, a cursed town and werewolf spirits. I think it was quite enjoyable.

Well hello!

Here I'am rambling again...

Long time no blog

What have I done recently?

I went to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show, armed with some rice, a water gun, news paper and this thing called a raikka not sure of what it is called in english. It was a funny event, although the atmosphere was bit too nerdy at times. There was this one girl sitting very close to us yelling non stop through the whole picture... most of that shit wasn't even funny and her timing was always off.

Mj had her b-day party... how would I say this? Well it was boring as hell no offense grrl. I bought her a book by Roald Dahl and ticket to that afore mentioned film. I think she didn't know what to expect:)

Most of my friends are doing their time at the army or civil service. I sure am glad that it is over for me.

We had this Ursa winter camp. It went pretty well... although I found myself carving a skull out of ice and smashing it with a shovel 3 o'clock at night. I couldn't sleep because the kids were behaving like a bunch of monkeys(sreaming and throwing their crap at each others).

I'm trying to get work but I haven't had any luck yet. I am probably not trying hard enough or something...

Well Sami and her wife to be Outi moved together into a very cool apatment in Hakaniemi. I helped them move and drank their beer later on. Congratulations to u my friends!

I saw Paris at a gig here in HKI. Great gig indeed! Inspiring and truly skillfull shit!

Something sad happened too...

My beloved cat Minni died 6.2.04. He was over 15 years old. He had been in a bad condition for a half a year or so and at the morning of 6.2 he was having breathing problems. Before we could get him to the vet for a mercy shot he died. I miss him very much because he was a special kind of cat, funny, violent and very unpredictable. It kinda feels like I still feel his presence here in this apartment and inside my heart.

Hello hello!

Yes... Your always reliable host is spending the new years eve in Stockholm, Sweden. I've been here for a while. We are leaving tomorrow 5 o'clock so your always reliable host has 2 options 1: party all night non-stop or 2: stop partying 10 o'clock and sleep for 7 or so hours. Which one is it gonna be? Gee i wonder?

I got my Ursa money today... sad because non of the shops I wished to visit were open today. I got myself some nice things though: a "fruits" postcard collection, some graffiti-mags and the soundscore for "cidade de deus".

but anyways...

It has been a truly nice year!

My Santa business went pretty well considering it was one of my "norm" days(drinking lots of jaffa). The kids were truly annoying, especially the older ones. They tried to steal my beard. Fortunately I managed to ho ho the day and stayed alive.

I met Jussi yesterday. I originally met him last summer at Senni's place. He had just moved to HKI, Kontula and started working at the HKI observatory(civil service business). We visited the Music Station Library at Pasila. I ordered 2 Control Machete cd's + borrowed a pile of cd's.

yes we are... Kinda scary because it is friday and x-mas is close and all that. I hope we don't get squeezed lifeless by some fat&agressive housewives(or something similar).

Why are we even going there?

Well we made a deal with Mj and Antero that we are gonna buy all(yaiks) the missing furniture and other shit this friday 19.th. Why did we settle for this particular day? Well it was the only day that suited us all. Actually to be frank Mj was the only one that had a calender with scheduled meetings... and now she isn't even coming:)

We saw IVO at Kerma last wednesday. Great gig! They had just finished their "World tour". The evening was promoted as the "Ivo's traditional x-mas-almond". You get this picture that they were giving rice porridge to people but they weren't. "We've been fooled!" Good thing was that they played some new songs:)

I got invited to this huge New year's party with live music and all that... You see we met this guy at Kerma. We didn't know who he was but Hannu thought that he looked familiar somehow. They did found out that they had some mutual friends. Pretty funny guy.

Such a shame that I'm gonna miss the party... I'm gonna be stucked in fuckin Stockholm. You bet I'm not gonna see any party anywhere... Toni is going to hang out with his co-workers but I have the feeling that he isn't gonna invite me and even if he did how cool would that be? + Our bus to the boat back to HKI leaves at 6 o'clock in the next morning.

Hello all yall!

Had a very Hectic weekend...

I spent friday with Aleksi. I visited the "Game on" exhibition for the second time. We spent aproximately 3 and a half hours there playing all sorts of video games... the security had to come and unplug our game when it wasn't over yet:(
After that we went to Pacifico. The place wasn't as packed as it normally is. They were playing the usual records: some old school hipiti hop, soul, funk, newer hiphop and some other shit... generally good shit.
This bar has really become the semi-official "Torkkeli hang out". We immediately recognized ten familiar faces. There was even this one chick who was sitting on the other side of our table... She was giving me the look: "I know ya, do ya recognize me?". She had studied in Torkkeli but I didn't know who she was or what was her name... We talked about some regular chitchat-shit and Aleksi showed her some of his bar tricks(not that one where he puts a nail in his nose... that's seriously distastefull). She wasn't much of a company so we focused on drinkin our Sangrias/sols.

Hannu had his "tuparit" on Saturday. We bought him a Transformers poster and a Batman postcard. We seriously tried to find a chick poster for him but we didn't find anything suitable so we settled for this one. Hannu and Aleksi played the DanceDance psone game while Hannu's cousin(can't remember her name but liked her alot) and I downed drinks and laughed at the two. After 2 hours more people finally arrived... including Elmeri, Erkki and Pekka(also former Torkkeli posse). We talked shit and listened to music. I had downed a whole bottle(3.75 dl?)of bacardi and 2 dl of gin before we left the place and headed to the centre of the city... needless to say I was very drunk.
We were supposed to go to Vanha(Club Kajal eighties hit songs... seriously scary shit) but we ended up going to the "new university student's house". This was the second time I was there without being ivited. The music was pretty horrible(steady beat booming techno) and the people there were even worse but the beer was cheap! 1.5 euros/bottle. So we drank little more and continued to talk (good)shit.
We were sitting in this side room where they had their own refrigerator full of beer and a tiny ghetto blaster that was playing some horrible suomi rock shit. Elmeri tried to put a RJD2 cd playing but these ugly hill billy girls stopped him saying they didn't want to listen to his records... musical nazism again! Some time after that I tried my luck with a Kurtis Mantronix song(electro with femcee lyrics). Ofcourse they didn't like it and they said that I should play manic street preachers or something... however I didn't bend to their wishes and insisted on playing this song. And we did listen the whole song before these fuckos put their shit on. These 2 annoying girls and this one guy even danced on a table after that: "yeah this song is so good! Jorma come closer to me and hold me tight!". I was pissed off. When some of my friends had found a gold lacquered plastic cerub I knew what I wanted to do with it. I threw the g'damn thing on these fuckos and tried to hit them in the head but unfortunately I missed. I was too drunk I guess. I hit this guy in the leg and he looked surprised and started pointing his middle finger at me. I replied ofcourse. After that he came to me and said: "you tried to hit me with something, what was it?" and after I told him what it was he asked: "what if it had hit me in the face?" I replied saying "It would have been very cool and funny. Definitely worth a laugh" after that he said: "If it had hit me in the face I would have thrown you out of the window, but it doesen't matter now and u are ok!"... I just laughed at his stupid drunk gay shit.

After that we went to Pekka's place. Not many of us were present... Hannu and Aleksi had left earlier on. We drank little more, chatted and danced to Dj Assault's songs: "Ass and titties! Ass and titties. 2 asses 4 titties!". I woke up there this sunday and the clock was 15.30. Needless to say I was very ill. I had threw up on several occasions(hit the toilet every time). Accompanied by Erkki and a terrible headache we walked to the city centre to purchase some Jaffa and headed home after that.

Now I'm ill chilling safely at home.

I ordered some records from this very cool website: www.stora.de. They sell all sorts of interesting music... Felix Kubin(Gagarin records), Messer Fur Frau Muller, Messerchups, Oleg Kostrow, Puyopuyo and even some cd's that were made with a gameboy and a nanoloop software. I strongly recommend visiting their site. 1 + side is that they agree for cash on payment:)

We went to see "Once upon a time in Mexico". Yes it sucked kinda alot... but there were some nice things: Salma Hayek, That other hot mama, some car chase(bike?) sequences, nicely choreographed fighting, ok soundtrack especially that "Pistolero!"-song and Johnny Depp(he never disappoints!).

I saw "Master and Commander..." too. I liked it. The actors were ok and all but what I liked most was that they didn't focus on the individual persons too much... they focused on the sea, the ship and the battles they waged against the french ship Acheron. It felt pretty real and I liked the fact that the director had given some attention to little details too. Definitely worth seeing if you happen to like sea, sailing and ships... If you are looking for classic romance(between man and woman that is), pointless action or slapstick comedy don't choose this one.

Ill fated was my gang BGF.

We played "The Purge" scenario and it went pretty well. After that I met Hannu's pirates in a bloody confrontation called a "Gang fight". That was yesterday. It sure was bloody... I ended up botling out after Hannu had shot 4 of my gangers "out of action" and another 4 "down". I caused some damage too: My boss Suma single handedly delivered 4 of his gangers out of action. My flamer guy Gangster Brown and my squat Termite were also lethal. Ok, then we resolved the injuries: for Hannu's gangers only some minor injuries but what would faith have in store for me? Well... Suma died.

Ain't cool at all.

Then again... maybe he had it coming.
