I finally got my pay check:)
Yeah that's right and it is almost gone now.

I bought a Nintendo Gamecube... It is so cool! I have Zelda, Mario and Soul Calibur.

I saw The Herbaliser 4 deck show yesterday. It was dope, even though they played some pop-hiphop too... I was there with Empa and Aleksi. We(Empa et moi) were supposed to catch a night bus from Hakaniemi, but the driver didn't let anyone in... It wasn't even full. So we ended up walking to Empa's place in Hermanni. I spent the night there... nice crib.

Now I'm playing Super Mario Sunshine at my friend's place(1 floor down from our apartment).

I saw Hannu's crib too. We watched japanese tv-commercials, music videos and also Delicatessen.

I envisioned some interesting entertainment for my b-day. It's top secret... well I'll tell you something: Blindfold and a fishing rod. Sounds crazy but actually it's pretty sane + funny.

see ya

My money-box is empty...
Jep ei oo fyrkkaa.

Vein tanaan verokorttini Ursaan ja mulle kerrottiin, etta saan rahaa ilmeisesti puolessa valissa kuuta. Alkaa tulla pahat viekkarit, ku en oo kayny levykaupassa pitkaan aikaan.

Jos nyt saan toita Ruotsista aloitan ne tossa Joulukuun alussa... Ei tuu kyl kauheesti kotia ikava... No ehka ihan pikku riikkisen.

Kavin tanaan katsomassa LXG:n.

No ei ainakaan tarvii hankkia Tuuraajaa sit ku mahdollisesti lahden.

Aloitan huomenna pi?atan valmistuksen. Hain liisterinkin.

jep jep

Tikulla silmaan!
Hello hello!

Man, it sure was a long weekend... I was working at the Space 2003 fair(at kaapeli) here in HKI. 26 hours of work. The first day was easy because there weren't that many visitors. Saturday was very hectic and sunday... well I don't say anything about that day. I don't like working with people who are jumpy, nervous and hyper 24h/d and my legs are still sore because of all that standing... My "friends" who were working at the muksu-nurkka were very pissed off at me because they were doing it for free and I got paid 9.4euros/h. Well I guess I would have behaved the same way... or not. I also noticed that there were mostly just pairs/families there. I guess it is common to go to a fair/exhibition with your companion.

Customer service smile. Yeah I know the purpose and the meaning of that but still you don't see me smiling that smile... in fact you don't see me smiling that often anywhere. You see I don't think that there are that many things to be smiling about. When you do see me smiling you can be sure that it is for real, not a fake grin that you see in the ads(you can't inspect my upper jaw gums).

:)

Well anyway I'm glad that it is over now.

I visited the Game on exhibition in Tennispalatsi. Imatran Voima had a nice gig there. It's so cool! For just 6 euros you can play all you want: Arcade games, video consoles, hand held games and even pachinko.

intermission

... tai tunti turpaan. Such a good finnish saying!

end of intermission

happy b-day to Lotta&Senni! luv ya!

There is this 1 very strange tombstone at the "stone park"(that is the place where they sell those stones): It has an open door and a set of steps that lead to it. There are 3 figures standing in the beginning of the steps... 2 are standing with their backs towards the steps/door and the third one is facing these two. It looks just like a door of a club/baar with 2 bouncers and a customer who tries to get in. I wonder if he'll get in, or not... Who the fuck would like to have a tomb stone like that on their grave?

ok nuff said

see yall

Bang, bang! My baby shot me down! Bang, bang!
Hei

Feeling bit down today... Don't know why.

I don't have much to say either.

I saw City of God yesterday. A veeery good movie indeed... I strongly recommend seeing it! It's structure kinda reminds me of movies like: Pulp Fiction, Good Fellas and Trainspotting but it feels more real. The actors are very good(vakuuttavia) and the script is interesting... even the sound score rocks(well it is mostly soul but still)! The only thing that I didn't like was that they had trasnlated/changed the names of the characters.

I'm gonna list some things that I would like to have in my crib:

1. A huge swimming pool filled with different colored hollow plastic balls. Pallomeri!

2. Ilmakiekko

3. A vacuum cleaner robot that looks and speaks like R2D2

4. a full sized church organ

more to come

see yall

Konnichiwa!

It feels great to be back in HKI!

I was working at the Helsinki Book Fair last weekend. It went well... we had lots of customers and I managed to buy some books for myself too: The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley, 8 Ball Chicks - A Year in the Violent World of Girl Gangs, William Blum's "Rogue State", Jonathan Lethem's "Gun, with occasional music" and 2 Douglas Coupland's books: "miss wyoming" and "Girlfriend in a Coma". I also bought some comics including Hugo Pratt's book about Antoine de Saint-Exupery and a Julie Doucet comic.

My cat is very ill... I think it's end is near.

This is great, just great!

Why does all the sad things happen in the autumn/early winter?

My ex contacted me. She wants to know how I feel about her?... do I hate her or am I neutral towards her? I dunno, but the last thing I need in my life is another not available girl as a friend... Sorry Saara! I'm glad that you are doing fine and all but I think you have messed with my life enough already. When ya wanna end something end it properly otherwise it will haunt you for a long time.

The near by tomb stones look cool covered in snow. I can't picture a stone that would suit me... I wish to be burned/dusted.

Ok this is getting too gloomy even for my liking.

I just Saw Kill Bill. It rocks! Great sound score, fighting scenes and even the actors didn't annoy me. It was drirected very well. Lots of pop culture references. It even starts with a "Shaw Scope" logo and an "old Klingon proverb". Tarantino could have messed this up but he didn't. It surprises me that it works this well. Yes, it ends in a cliffhanger but It wasn't an anticlimax type of ending, it leaves you satisfied and wanting for more.

music that kicks ass right now:

Kill Bill's sound score
old Mantronix and Egyptian Lover songs.
Why's "Darla" song from the Early Whitney ep

'til next time!

Mini skirts and snow
Well hello!

Last day here in Stockholm. It has been pretty fun and all but... Hell, it sure is nice to get back home!

We are going to the movies tonight, I think... Once upon a time in Mexico. Yeah it's that Desperado/El Mariachi warm up/sequel. It probably sucks ass but Johnny Depp is in it so it can't be completely bad can it? I would have liked to see "Guds stad" which is that Brasilian ghetto movie but they speak portuquese in it and it's subtitled in swedish. Jag kan forsto svenska men... I might miss something.

I didn't get to see Komaki yesterday. He works the night shift in SAS so he must have been tired or something. There were only 4-5 newbies training at the dojo. I also trained even though I didn't have my gear with me(borrowed a bokken from my bro). It felt good... haven't done that in awhile(damn that toe and those stupid doctors).

And yes we met Sari. She hasn't changed a bit: She had ghetto-locks(I dunno what they are really called) and she still lives like a bat.

It is strange that my bro behaves the way he does. My aunt said that he wasn't like that before I came. I quess my 'laxed personality gets him angry and hyper. I think he is still kinda excited about his job and all... maybe he'll calm down after a month or so, or not.

I wonder if it's snowing in Finland?
Onko ensilumi jo tullut?

music worth checking out:

Buck 65: Talkin honky blues(surf to www.buck65.com) great mix of alt-hiphop, blues, johnny cash type country sound and with kick ass lyrics!

"Problem today is that they got an answer for everything"

see ya

We got some snow!
Yeah!

Most people don't like winter because it is cold and it limits the way you can dress. I like winter because here it is real: real snow, real cold and all that. I like to see change in things. I would be bored if it wouldn't rain once in a while. A real snowy and cold winter even makes you appreciate summer more.

We didn't do anything particular yesterday.

I'm all out of money and I had a terrible head ache.

Today we are probably going to meet Komaki sensei. It would be nice to see him and also some other swedish iaidokas.

I'm still not sure if I want to work and live here for a while or not.

Fresh Dj Bling Bling 5000000 is playing at Pacifico next Friday:)

cool music right now:

Fingathing: Superhero music
Josiah: The Josiah Ep(bought from that Why concert)
Welle Erdball: Nur Tote Frauen sind schon
...

My cat has cancer. It saddens me but I know that this is completely natural. Everything(living)/everybody dies. He is going to get a lethal injection... but not yet because he doesen't seem to be in any pain yet.

"Alles beginnt und endet zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort!"

My bro got back from work: The first thing he does is curse me... "you lazy ass fuck! you don't do anything! I've been working! yeah! You should appreciate that you lazy fatty!". Oh I love this guy!
He said that this Sari-girl is going to visit us today. She is this 20something girl who likes r&b and mainstream hip hop. Last time I saw her she was sleeping during the daytime and partying all night night... a real bat-girl

Yeah well see ya!

Stuck in here
Hello hello!

I'm still in Sweden. Why? Well I wanted to see Why?'s concert. I saw it yesterday... It was dope! He had a live band with him and his big brother Josiah was playing the drums. Man I haven't seen a more hectic and excellent drummer never before in my life. The club, Debaser was located at this strange place called Karl Johan's Torg(or something) that is practically a bunch of bridges crossing this river(?) + a statue. This club was under one of these bridges. There weren't that many people there... maybe under 50 or so. It is strange that these guy's don't do gigs in Finland because I'm sure that they would get more audience than that.

Once I get back home I'm going to scan the photos that I took and put them here for you to see.

The boat back to Helsinki leaves next friday.

I could work here and live with my aunt Vuokko and my brother Toni if I wanted to. I'm not sure.... It would be pretty cool and I would get some money too but I'm still not sure. I don't have that many things back home that I would miss.

I bought "Courtney Crumrin and the coven of mystics" graphic novel. It is kinda gothic and funny. Written and drawn by Ted Naifeh who is a co author of also excellent goth-comic "Gloom Cookie"(only the first album though).

People are thin and good looking here. All the men are wussie pussies and all the chix have lil french type bootys. Sir Mix-Alot would be very disappointed of the women that you see here.

until next time... see ya!

Halsar fr?n Sverige!
Hej! Ill Janne is now in Sweden. Yei!

My brother moved here month ago. We decided that it was time to pay him a visit. We are staying at my aunt's place. Tomorrow I'm gonna buy some vinyl and gba games... and maybe some comics too. Yeah the usual shit.

Anyway I saw Boyz of Galicula(Mesak and Randy Barracuda from Ivo) perform their ghetto house set "Caesar". It was dope! They were dressed as roman senators with togas and all. I strongly recommend buying that record.

I saw "Big Heat" by Fritz Lang. Classic film noir stuff... I liked it, alot.

Oh yeah... If you happen to read "Alueuutiset" you might come across an article about Ursa's astronomy club for kids and some comments on today's hot topics by your faithfull blog host: me Ill Janne. Yeah that's right I'm a celebrity now and it is starting to feel good! Money, power, chix and all that shit.

I'm a little dissappointed... I didn't got any email concerning that old men question.

My Roaring 20's party is going to be great! I have planned all sorts of entertainment for the night. Where could I get a violin case + tommy gun? And that huge birthday cake & stripper thing would be cool too... Well at least there is going to be a pi?ata:)

I send love & respect to all of my faithfull readers out there!

peace

Mind if I burn a piece of a tropical rainforest here?
Well what ya know... I got some money after all:)

I'm going to Tampere today. I was listening to some of my old school electro records when it hit me: This shit is very good and I need to get more! Ok I confess I'm a hopeless vinyl junkie.

I'm probably not going to visit Turku this weekend. Why not? Well my schedule is very tight and some other shit came up... My friend has some unsetled business with her ex. This (ex)guy is a total loony. Ok I'm not going in to any details because it wouldn't be a nice thing to do.

I don't know if there are any people reading my ramblings... if you recognize yourself as one could you do me a favor? I've been wondering what is it that makes old men attractive in the eyes of young girls? Is it just this "well I've been walking around this globe for 38 years so you bet I know some tricks those young suckers don't know" and "Well I don't know Suzy I date Tom(45) because he seems more grown up and mature even though he still lives at his mom's house and he was a virgin before I met him". This question is really bugging me.

If you think you know the answer please let me know: astroboy@suomi24.fi

Yeah Lustin Booze club is tonight! I get to see Empa and maybe even Aleksi. I'm definitely in a party mood!
