Go honey! Go!
Hello hello!

I ordered some records from this very cool website: www.stora.de. They sell all sorts of interesting music... Felix Kubin(Gagarin records), Messer Fur Frau Muller, Messerchups, Oleg Kostrow, Puyopuyo and even some cd's that were made with a gameboy and a nanoloop software. I strongly recommend visiting their site. 1 + side is that they agree for cash on payment:)

We went to see "Once upon a time in Mexico". Yes it sucked kinda alot... but there were some nice things: Salma Hayek, That other hot mama, some car chase(bike?) sequences, nicely choreographed fighting, ok soundtrack especially that "Pistolero!"-song and Johnny Depp(he never disappoints!).

I saw "Master and Commander..." too. I liked it. The actors were ok and all but what I liked most was that they didn't focus on the individual persons too much... they focused on the sea, the ship and the battles they waged against the french ship Acheron. It felt pretty real and I liked the fact that the director had given some attention to little details too. Definitely worth seeing if you happen to like sea, sailing and ships... If you are looking for classic romance(between man and woman that is), pointless action or slapstick comedy don't choose this one.

...

music tips:

Puyopuyo, Little in Japan(great Japan influenced glitch/experimental electronic music that is surprisingly easy to enjoy)

Oleg Kostrow, Lego for 4(the keyboardist/programmer from MFFM. He has done soundscores for several theatre plays)

Felix Kubin, Helgoland, Groenland Orchester, Brezel Goering etc. Psykoscifipoppia(Kubin and his label mates... there are no bad tracks on this album!)

Messerchups, Vamp Babes(Oleg Gitarkin ? of MFFM at his best. It includes the song "Go Satan Go!")

They shot him down!
Hello hello...

Ill fated was my gang BGF.

We played "The Purge" scenario and it went pretty well. After that I met Hannu's pirates in a bloody confrontation called a "Gang fight". That was yesterday. It sure was bloody... I ended up botling out after Hannu had shot 4 of my gangers "out of action" and another 4 "down". I caused some damage too: My boss Suma single handedly delivered 4 of his gangers out of action. My flamer guy Gangster Brown and my squat Termite were also lethal. Ok, then we resolved the injuries: for Hannu's gangers only some minor injuries but what would faith have in store for me? Well... Suma died.

Ain't cool at all.

Then again... maybe he had it coming.

Thug Life.

Aleksi is having his graduation party today. Congratulations!

well see yall

Triangle, The Devil And A Point
Nicetameetcha!

Man this is frustrating... I'm typing this with a very old laptop that is just barely working.

We(Aleksi and me) saw Aavikko and Messer Fur Frau Muller perform yesterday at Tavastia. Great gig! It has been over a year since I last saw Aavikko and this was the first time I saw mffm(I saw Messer Chups last year?!). I bought Their new cd which is called "Triangle, The Devil And A Point": Killer material! This band is really one of kind... Mixing surf, ska, exotica and 50/60's b-movie sampledelica.

Too bad I didn't have more money with me. I would have probably purchased several of their(all side projects included) records.

A little hint to anyone living in the Turku area: Aavikko and MFFM have a gig there this thursday, at a club called Klubi.

I'm hooked up on my GBA. I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics.

I had my PS2 modded... Now I am able to play U.S import games kinda cool huh?

We are gonna play a "Purge" Necromunda scenario tomorrow. I'm gonna side up with Hannu and His Pirate posse and we are gonna erase some zombies(yaiks!).

Games, games and more games! When will I get bored of all this? Dunno...

yes yes

Ill Janne turned 20!
Hello hello!

I haven't written anything for a while...

I've been very busy with my B-day and all that...

Now I'm finally 20!
Yei!

I don't feel different at all.

My Roaring 20's party was a success. There were about 16 of my friends(their avecs included) present. We had lots of good food, some wine, glogia... I think that people even liked the show numbers: Adult version of "Fishing", "Draw victim outlines" and Pi?ata... but the most amazing number was Empa's dance performance! "You were fabulous, darling!" I was surprised by how many had dressed accordingly to the theme. Thank you for putting some effort into it!

For all the participators: Thank you!

It is always nice to see people enjoy themselves... Warms my heart.

I'm gonna put some photos here when I get them back from Anttila and have them scanned.

I played my first Necromunda ES-campaign game with my gang Black Guerrilla Family. It was against some Scavvies and I won(Burn scavvy! Burn!). I hope my win streak doesen't end too soon.

On saturday We were supposed to see Goldie play but he had cancelled the gig because of some health problems(cocaine anyone?!). We ended up seeing Cleaning Women which was great! Haven't seen them in a while. I love that brutal drum sound!

Aavikko and Messer Chups perform today: kakkoii!

Music tips:

Gonzalez: "Presidential suite"
Django Reinhardt
Kill Bill's soundtrack especially that one track by Tomoyasu Hotei.

Until next time!

see ya

Bite me!
Hello all mellow cats!

Done testing...

Lemme see... First they put all these sensors all over my body. I even had to wear this wire hat and they injected some gel on my head... which is still stuck in my hair. Then they monitored me in a relaxed neutral state. After that the real test began: First was Tetris... 3 times 5 minutes 1. practice round 2. first real round with average difficulty 3. second round with harder difficulty. The next game was Super Monkey Ball. Third one was Monkey bowling and the last one was James Bond Night Fire. The gaming console used was Nintendo Game Cube.

How did I score? Not very good... I think I won't be the worst of all the testees but not the best either.

+ Now I'm 3 movie tickets richer:)

- that gel

By the way: I saw "Underworld". I was surprised by how good it was. Definitely one of the better movies of the genre. Vampires(dressed in latex and leather ofcourse!) fighting with Lycans(werewolves). Check it out!

See yall

Test Animal
Hello Hello!

I met Petteri yesterday. I haven't seen him in a while(1 year?). I originally met this guy at the civil sevice center in Lapinjarvi. He is a SW fanboy and plays rpg's too. He showed me his dwelling place in Munkkivuori.

What else...

Oh yeah!

I'm gonna participate in this scientific experiment, as a test person. It is about video games... I will play for 4 hours and they will monitor my heart rate, brain activity and the movements of my facial muscles. It means that I'll be covered in wires.
Now you are asking "why would anyone wanna do this?" My answer is simple: 1. it sounds interesting and 2. I'll get 3 movie tickets for doing this. This experiment will take place tomorrow so I'll tell you more then(If I can... I might have sworn secrecy by then).

see yall

I finally got my pay check:)
Yeah that's right and it is almost gone now.

I bought a Nintendo Gamecube... It is so cool! I have Zelda, Mario and Soul Calibur.

I saw The Herbaliser 4 deck show yesterday. It was dope, even though they played some pop-hiphop too... I was there with Empa and Aleksi. We(Empa et moi) were supposed to catch a night bus from Hakaniemi, but the driver didn't let anyone in... It wasn't even full. So we ended up walking to Empa's place in Hermanni. I spent the night there... nice crib.

Now I'm playing Super Mario Sunshine at my friend's place(1 floor down from our apartment).

I saw Hannu's crib too. We watched japanese tv-commercials, music videos and also Delicatessen.

I envisioned some interesting entertainment for my b-day. It's top secret... well I'll tell you something: Blindfold and a fishing rod. Sounds crazy but actually it's pretty sane + funny.

see ya

My money-box is empty...
Jep ei oo fyrkkaa.

Vein tanaan verokorttini Ursaan ja mulle kerrottiin, etta saan rahaa ilmeisesti puolessa valissa kuuta. Alkaa tulla pahat viekkarit, ku en oo kayny levykaupassa pitkaan aikaan.

Jos nyt saan toita Ruotsista aloitan ne tossa Joulukuun alussa... Ei tuu kyl kauheesti kotia ikava... No ehka ihan pikku riikkisen.

Kavin tanaan katsomassa LXG:n.

No ei ainakaan tarvii hankkia Tuuraajaa sit ku mahdollisesti lahden.

Aloitan huomenna pi?atan valmistuksen. Hain liisterinkin.

jep jep

Tikulla silmaan!
Hello hello!

Man, it sure was a long weekend... I was working at the Space 2003 fair(at kaapeli) here in HKI. 26 hours of work. The first day was easy because there weren't that many visitors. Saturday was very hectic and sunday... well I don't say anything about that day. I don't like working with people who are jumpy, nervous and hyper 24h/d and my legs are still sore because of all that standing... My "friends" who were working at the muksu-nurkka were very pissed off at me because they were doing it for free and I got paid 9.4euros/h. Well I guess I would have behaved the same way... or not. I also noticed that there were mostly just pairs/families there. I guess it is common to go to a fair/exhibition with your companion.

Customer service smile. Yeah I know the purpose and the meaning of that but still you don't see me smiling that smile... in fact you don't see me smiling that often anywhere. You see I don't think that there are that many things to be smiling about. When you do see me smiling you can be sure that it is for real, not a fake grin that you see in the ads(you can't inspect my upper jaw gums).

:)

Well anyway I'm glad that it is over now.

I visited the Game on exhibition in Tennispalatsi. Imatran Voima had a nice gig there. It's so cool! For just 6 euros you can play all you want: Arcade games, video consoles, hand held games and even pachinko.

intermission

... tai tunti turpaan. Such a good finnish saying!

end of intermission

happy b-day to Lotta&Senni! luv ya!

There is this 1 very strange tombstone at the "stone park"(that is the place where they sell those stones): It has an open door and a set of steps that lead to it. There are 3 figures standing in the beginning of the steps... 2 are standing with their backs towards the steps/door and the third one is facing these two. It looks just like a door of a club/baar with 2 bouncers and a customer who tries to get in. I wonder if he'll get in, or not... Who the fuck would like to have a tomb stone like that on their grave?

Bang, bang! My baby shot me down! Bang, bang!
Hei

Feeling bit down today... Don't know why.

I don't have much to say either.

I saw City of God yesterday. A veeery good movie indeed... I strongly recommend seeing it! It's structure kinda reminds me of movies like: Pulp Fiction, Good Fellas and Trainspotting but it feels more real. The actors are very good(vakuuttavia) and the script is interesting... even the sound score rocks(well it is mostly soul but still)! The only thing that I didn't like was that they had trasnlated/changed the names of the characters.

I'm gonna list some things that I would like to have in my crib:

1. A huge swimming pool filled with different colored hollow plastic balls. Pallomeri!

2. Ilmakiekko

3. A vacuum cleaner robot that looks and speaks like R2D2

4. a full sized church organ

more to come

see yall
