Enter SiteHypothesis- My Hypothesis is that the chichen wire will let ou all the FM waves, but will block most of the AM stations. I belive that the cardboard box will block most of the FM stations, but the higher frequency stations may escape. All AM stations will be blocked. The wood box will block more FM waves than the cardboard box and all AM stations. Lastly, The Aluminum box will block all radio stations because of reflection. The reason that I think AM wave will be more easily blocked is because in my reaserch, I learned that 1MHz of AM waves is 118 inches long, and 100MHz of FM waves is 1.18 inches long. Safty Considerations- Some safty considerations are to be cuatious to avoid getting a paper cut on the cardboard or alluminum and to not get poked by the chicken wire. Other safty considerations include wearing protective gloves and goggles while making the wooden box.
