Christmas have had a long history. This centuries' old tradition, more known as a Christian festival, is associated with both religious history and secular tradition. For one, it said to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. But in actual fact, nobody know why Christmas came to be celebrated on this day. Some believed that it is related to pagan Roman and German's festivals and celebration styles.

The pagan Romans used to celebrate the winter solstice, also known as the "birthday of the unconquered sun" or the "sun god festival", with traditions that resembles that of Christmas time such as the exchange of presents and merrymaking. Moreover, on every first day of the year, Romans have their houses decorated with lights and children and the unfortunates ones are showered with gifts.
