New and Improved.. I hope

Whats new...

Saturday April 14th, 2012 - METTOWEE OFF ROAD EXTREME PARK

So Mettowee had their Spring Fling event, and I finally got to go. I, like most of the people I went with, brought the only offroad vehicle I had; my 2003 Yamaha Raptor 660R. Hell of a vehicle to have on a mountain like that, but it was a blast. Unfortunately, my main recording equipment was forgotten at home. Awesome right? I know. Thankfully I did remember the Sony Cybershot, allowing us to get a little video at least. So that it wasn't a complete recording washout.
Was a great time, got to bring Lindsay and get some trail riding in with her. Like the trails at Mettowee a lot and hope to return very soon. But, until next time...

September 19th, 2011 - Arlington, VT wheeling

Nick, Shawn, and myself went on the ATV's for a ride through Arlington, VT. We ended up putting in 27.7 miles this day, and had a ton of fun. Riding mostly on class 4 roads, we made our way around Red Mountain, then skirted the law and got on a trail to Equinox Mountain. We were unable to find a usable trail to get to the summit of Equinox, but had fun trying :)

August 19th, 2011 - Raptor "how-to" video

I know that I've slacked again. Oops. But I got tired of trying to deal with this reverse issue with the Raptor, so I fixed it. After a little investigation I decided to dive into it while the camera was rolling. Like the others, this isn't a great video, but it gets the job done.

June 08, 2011 - Americade

So, the Americade.... I wasn't going to go. The last few years it has been crawling with police and boring as hell, and there really isn't anything exciting about it anymore.

I was bored and Shawn was up for a ride, so I figured we might as well get a boring video. We didn't stop anywhere, just turned the GoPro on for a round up and back the strip. It is not much of a video but it has some bikes in it.

Laconia next week !! LOTS of video from that :)

April 23rd, 2011 - Mettawee Off Road Extreme Park

There will definitely be a lot of pictures and video added as they are edited. We are stoked that the snow is gone and it finally feels like spring. Was a perfect day to be off road. The rain was a pain at times but the mud was awesome. I have a feeling we will be revisiting there often.

Mettowee Off Road Extreme Park

The small video clips will be uploaded to the Custumzincarnate YouTube channel. Once I have edited the clips together into one large video I will upload that to the VloggyStyle YouTube channel. Check back often and dont forget to subscribe.

Update: I have two small clips uploaded and ready to go. I am off vacation and back to work so I cannot edit as often, but I am working on getting them out asap. Check back often, there are a LOT more videos left to edit and upload.

Feb. 9th, 2011 - New year.. wow

It seems I have slacked off again, sorry. Not too much has been going on the past couple months, working quite a lot at Quad/Graphics and catching up on bills.

There are a number of trips in the works for this year:
Of course Laconia Bike week. I have put in for my time off and will be there June 13th thru June 19th, 2011. I would like to stay a few days longer and check out more of the area, but it all depends on the finances.

There is a plan in the works to take a motorcycle only trip and hit up The Tail of the Dragon.

Lindsay and I will be taking a trip early spring as well. I will try to keep up on all trips as the plans detail out. The Laconia trip is definite and all are invited to join. I doubt that I will be staying at the track this year. I am hoping to grab a spot at a campground near or in weirs beach. I want to spend a lot more time in the downtown scene.

I definitely hope to get a third GoPro Camera, as well as get some new mounts made up so I can put some new angles on both the atv and the motorcycle. With the help of available overtime at Quad/Graphics, I definitely will be adding more equipment to my collection. I am determined to get a LOT more videos and get better and better at editing and uploading decent content. Hopefully the snow will start to melt and we can all get a super early spring!! See you all soon :)

Dec. 15th, 2010 - winter...

Definitely not my favorite time of year for sure. Seriously reconsidering this entire northeast thing all together. Virginia beach is sounding better and better.

Not much going on at all lately outside of work. I am updating from my phone and cannot currently see if I have posted this yet but I have started a new career with Quad/Graphics. I have been there a few weeks now and am enjoying it quite a lot. The hours are taking a little getting used to, they are 12 hr shifts and I am starting on overnight shifts as well. Fun stuff eh.

Obviously not anything going on as far as any new videos, but I am working on it. Even though I dislike it, with the snow on the ground I must adapt. Hoping to mount the GoPro cameras to the wheeler and have some fun getting frostbite.
This is a lot of typing on the droid so im going to end my ramble. I will try to have a video up within a week or so.

Nov. 14th, 2010 - Photography

I will have the photography and sale sections back up and redesigned as soon as I can. There has been a lot going on here with the start of the new job and I havent been able to finish the coding for the main page, but I will soon. Promise!

For now you can still look at the basic page through the link at the bottom of the page in this sectoin,
Or through: HERE

Nov. 10th, 2010 - Mild update

So not too much going on lately. Had the first sticking snow of the year 2 days ago, gone now but starting to set in that winter is here. Not happy about that, but what can ya do?
So no good riding or offroading videos so far. I will include a video of a how-to that I did on tightening the chain on a Yamaha Raptor. Boring but I wanted to try it and see what kind of views or responses it got to see if I wanted to start doing more of them.

Daytona Beach Bike week, Florida: The topic has been started and looks like we are going to plan to try to make it. Details are fuzzy at best at this point but it looks like a go for sure. Dates this year are March 4th - 13th, 2011

I start work in 2 days (Nov 12th), and should be making a lot more than my last job. Hopefully I will be able to get caught up fast so that I can start buying toys and upgrades soon. For now, here is a quick and silent (sorry) how-to video:

Oct. 18th, 2010 - Jeeps and Raptors

Nick had a trail head across from his house in Arlington, VT that we decided to test out. Turned out to be a decent trail that we were unable to follow completely but got some good footage through the part we did get to. I am sure we will test it out again soon.

This is the first video that I was able to process and upload in full 1080p HD, so be sure to click the HD option and give it time to load to see it in good quality full screen. I am still learning the editing programs so bare with me. Ive been sticking to Cyberlink Powerdirector but will probably try out a few more that have better effects options...

Sept. 7th, 2010 - New Video

Not too much has been going on lately. Well, scratch that. ALOT has gone on in a way.
1) I Quit my job of 10 years with Quadra-Tek
2) I bought a 2002 Yamaha Raptor 660R
3) I bought a 1995 Chevrolet S-10
4) I bought a Canon EOS 50D DSLR
5) I bought a new GoPro HD Motorsports Hero

As well as some basic accessorys: generator, portable air compressor with storage tank, some camera parts, HD software, HD capable TV to test some of the video (okay I just wanted a bigger TV but it was a good excuse to get it!), and I am sure I am missing some stuff.
The trip to Dorset, VT went well. I got a lot of trails logged but definately not enough. Still a lot more to do, had to cut the week there short after I rolled the wheeler onto my ankle and twisted it up pretty good. So I went to PA where Lindsay was instead. I will get back up there again soon for sure.

John Nelson Jr. and I were able to get out to some Nelson property and tear up some trails and track on the toys. I didnt get too much good footage but got enough for a small upload. The upload is posted below. I will try to get more video up asap, as well as a map of the trails I logged in dorset.

Aug 15th, 2010 - Update

July 9th, 2010 - Laconia Video

New video and the countdown

I finally pieced together the small amount of video that I took in Laconia. Years at the track have been getting less entertaining so when Laconia 2011 comes around we will have a house on the weirs beach block to call home instead of the track. Should be a lot more action and more fun stuff to point the video at.. so we shall see.

I did a little research into Sturgis and would like to go but am not completely sure about it just yet. I did find out that there is another bike rally just up the road from here in Killington, VT to check out. I will most likely definately be headed to that. Until then, here is a short vid for now. I do have one set of clips that I forgot to add to this so I may make one more short vid to add. Check back to see!

June 30th, 2010 - Updates

New focus, more updates!

Okay, so it has been a little while since my last confession... (shakes head) update!
Laconia was a blast, I have a bit of video and pics from that I am currently working on and will have that up asap. I put in my notice at my job and will be taking a smallish leave from work to focus on life a bit, and this means new toys! I am determined to buy a wheeler and start having some fun before I plunge back into a new job. I will be doing a major upgrade to my camera equipment as well as adding another GoPro HD Hero Motorsports camera because I frigan love those things! So there will definately be a lot more videos to be seen. I have also broken down and installed internet at my house so I will be able to continue to upload and all that fun stuff.

For those of you trail riders near VT and NY, I plan to start a map of trails asap. Using a magellan triton gps I plan to track my trails and load them onto map software and get as many trails as I can in the area down, then find a plotter to print the maps out. Once this is done I will have links to them and will probably either dedicate a larger section to this or start a new website for the trail maps, depending on the demand. I may try and do this for hiking trails as well, because I can never find trail maps anywhere anymore. Not free ones anyway, why the hell should we have to pay a subscription to get a map? sheesh. PS: if you have a gps trail and would like to add it to a map, shoot me an email and I will try to incorporate it in: custumzincarnate (at) hotmail dotcom.

Thats about all for the moment. I am going to try to be on here again in the next couple of days to add the pics and video from laconia. So I will see you then, Peace!

May 20th, 2010 - New edits

HDR and the weekend

The last two weeks I have been trying to ramp up my photography again. The new Adobe Photoshop CS5 came out and I was anxious to get the trial downloaded and running in hopes to take early advantage of any new features. I wasnt blown away with anything the new version had to offer. I like a lot of the subtle features but overall its not too much different than CS4. I love the integration of HDR in the new CS5, i just wish it would offer a few more options and a little more powerfull of an effect on the photos. The images above are some basic edits from the integrated CS5 HDR.

This comming weekend is a busy one for me but I am definately going to try and get some pictures in and do my best to update this site more with some more of my photos and digital work.
