Sun shone through the thin white curtains of dae's bedroom. She opened her eyes slowly, yawning. A glance over at the clock told her it was about 11am. stretching, she spread her arms to touch hyungon, and give him a little hug. but next to her, the bed was empty. All that was left beside her was a single, perfect white lily.She got up, holding the fragile lily in her hands. she was confused. no note, and no message telling her where he had gone. Trying not to be too worried, she shuffled slowly into the kitchen, smiling as she felt her stomach, and the life growing inside. Dae took out a cookbook, got out the ingredients, and followed the instructions. Soon, she had almost-burnt pancakes, and two omelettes for her and her husband. She looked down at her stomach, "You're going to make me fat. Oh, well." Dae placed the food on the table and looked outside for Hyun Gon. "Gon!!~" she cried out in the front yard. She looked out back. "GON!! IF YOU DON'T COME HERE RIGHT NOW, I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!" Dae searched the flower gardens and the lemon tree. Arms wrapped around eyes. She loved this game. "GON! Now, get inside and eat food!~ It's not all burnt this time!"she waited a while. no one came. she heard nothing. not even his voice. shrugging, trying not to worry herself too much, she went back inside. looking at all the nice things she had cooked on the table she thought to herself "i cant eat all this on my own..." then she felt her baby kick - "right" she smiled "so im not on my own." Before sitting down at the table, she filled a blue glass bowl with water, and put the beautiful lily into it.
Just as she sat down, there was a sound at the front door. she stood up again, quickly, and waited. but no one came through to greet her. sighing, she sat down again. "it was probably just the wind""BOO!" someone scared Dae. "AHHH!!" she cried and grabbed the orange juice.
"Did you miss me?!" Hyun Gon reached over to kiss her when he was poured with juice.
"Sorry. You scared me," Dae giggled."where have you been?" dae tried to be serious as they ate breakfast. but inside, she was so happy. she was always happy when she was with gon.
"Nowhere special" he winked, finishing his plate of pancakes. "Im going to have a shower ok?" Dae nodded. before he went into the bathroom, he gave her another kiss, and put his hand lightly on her stomach smiling proudly, affectionately. then he went to have his shower.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
there was a knocking at the door. Dae stopped her washing up and went to the door. peeking through, she saw a familiar face, beaming at her. she opened the door.
"dae!!" stella hugged her as the door opened. "STELLIE!" Dae returned the hug. Stella touched her bulging stomach.
"WAHH!" she cried. Dae wailed along.
"EEE!" They laughed crazily at each other's squeals. Hyun Gon shook his head. He could hear them all the way upstairs, even with the water on full blast. "I don't see how I got to spend ten thousand bucks on her," he laughed to himself.
"i cannot believe you're going to be a mother." stella was babbling excitedly as she seated herself down at the kitchen table and started to eat the remains of gon and dae's breakfast.
"i know! my own little family" dae dreamed sweetly, staring off into the distance.
Hyungon had finished in his shower, and had got dried and dressed aswell. "honey, im going out for a bit. ill be home in a couple of hours ok?" he kissed her forehead softly.
"hey gon!" stella said.
"oh hey stella. how's jjong treating you?""good good." she replied.
"see you later." he said, and then kissing dae one more time he left.
"omg..." stella let out a long excited breath. "he is going to be SUCH a perfect dad!!""I KNOW!~" the two friends laughed.
Hyun Gon whistled happily, thinking of names. "Hey, Gon hyung!! Need a lift?" Ho Suk stopped his car by Hyun Gon. Hyun Gon nodded and got into the passenger seat.They drove over to Tae Hyung's house. Fey opened the door for them. "Hey, guys! About time, Ho Suk! I need the car to get something. Bye!" Fey announced, grabbed Ho Suk's car keys, and left with the car. Ho Suk was living with Tae Hyung and Fey, along with Celine. It was a pretty cozy house, so all of them fit into it.hyungon greeted taeng, jjong and hosuk as he entered the house. they were all gathering together for a special reason.
"everyone ready to go back to the track?" Taeng smiled. there was a small cheer.
they hadnt been to the race track since the incident two years ago. Jjong was no longer a street racer, although he still had the skills - and the car.
they all bundled themselves into three small cars, squishing tightly together. the atmosphere was like taking little kids to the circus or the zoo. they wouldnt shutup, babbling about the memories, and all the stories, and all the times the races were won.The men reached the wide field espcially made for car racing.
"Wow, it's good to be home," Jong Hyuk sighed in relief. Everyone rolled their eyes and laughed. They checked the old, but still very fast car. Everything seemed okay. But the other racer was not present.
"Who is it anyway?" Hosuk began but was cut off by dust hitting his face. "HEY, WATCH IT!" he screamed to a black mysterious looking car. A hand was waved outside the window. That was the other racer.
