Adopt-A-Grandparent is one of the many programs 4-H has. It gives you a chance to realize that even the eldrely need someone to love them. Everyone needs someone to love them. My 4-H group, Bremer County Biz-E Bees, participated in this program. We went to the Tripoli nursing home and asked if we could adopt an elderly person to serve as a grandparent. We would go to the nursing home and talk with our new "grandparents". We would bring them food and Christmas presents. Adopt-A-Grandparent was one of the most enjoyable things I have ever done.
