Welcome to the Great Unknown

Let me introduce myself, Im Ben Bridger, I wrote the first two poems on the poem page last summer. Since then I've filled a suit case with poetry that I wrote over the past summer and this fall. Well first im gonna use this space chris gave me to create a friendly atmosphere to kinda get away from this negitive haze that's been lingering around like a thick depressing fog. In my writings I try to avoid making the reader severly depressed. But ok on with the page!

THE DOORWAY TO THE HEAVENS

By Benjamin Bridger

Foreign visitors from the empty palace,
they know that the heavens lay beyond the door,
it all rolls into one, snow is falling in my brain,
I tell you things still are the same,
the white framed door,
we are all part of the universe,
it depends on all of us,
my brain is eroding into a pile of leaves,
I swept them into a pile in the back yards of our hearts,
step outside the planet,
leave the restrictions of time and atmospheres behind you,
fly,
surround us with your beauty,
let's fly through space,
amidst this busy city is the doorway to the heavens.
come on,
let your brain erode.
