'Storm 09 went off successfully! Event results will be posted soon. Please email the webmaster or Louise Glon for any constructive feedback on the event.
On behalf of the Mariner Ship, I'd like to apologize attendees of the dance. We keep a strict rein on the music selection to keep it clean, including most mentions of alcohol in the songs. One we specifically requested obviously violated this ideal though we didn't realize 'til we actually played it. It's on our business agenda to further investigate what BSA and GSUSA expect of social dances like these.
Our Chairman and Skipper, Louise Glon, returned to school on Tuesday to discover a broken wall folder, crushed peppermint and gum on the carpet, and computers that had been fiddled with in several classrooms. Such behavior is unacceptable from young adults, let alone scouts, and will unfortunately affect all units wanting to stay overnight at the school on Saturday.
That being said, the parents, Mariners, and alumni of 361 would like to thank the units that did leave their classrooms in good condition, and to all those who helped us run a smooth 'Storm for 2008.
