FIRE VIDEO - This video demonstrates just how quickly a fire will reach its flashover point. It was done during a Mt. Vernon Fire Department arson investigation class. The numbers on the right show the temperatures at different levels in the room.
STRUCTURE FIRE - 11/23/11 Metal shed at 19808 Hen House Rd north west of Sandoval was destroyed by fire. Fire ruled accidental, caused by sparks from cutting bolts. Huey Ferrin Boulder and Patoka fire departments were requested for tankers. Odin fire stood by at their station. One civilian was injured with burns to hands and face. We were on scene for about 2 hours.
EQUIPMENT FIRE - 11/18/11 Excavator in a field just off Community Beach Road damaged by fire.
STRUCTURE FIRE - 11/10/11 Vacant home at 207 North Broadway was heavily damaged by fire. Arson suspected. Odin Fire provided mutual aid.
