We have reserved rooms at the following hotels for our event. Refer to the Crouch/Berkhof wedding in order to receive the available discount rates. Please let us know if you call the hotels and our rates are already filled so we can try to block more.

The Clarion is about a 20 minute drive from the reception site and about 5 minutes from O'Hare. It is an easy drive since both the reception and hotel are right off the highway.

The Days Inn Gold Coast offers their guests a free shuttle service to many destinations: museums, shopping on the Magnificent Mile and the reception for instance. It is right across the street from the Lincoln Park Zoo and the beautiful Lake Michigan; where you'll find a wonderful running path. The Magnificent Mile is less than one mile north and if you follow the lake's edge, it won't be long before you reach Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum and the Art Institute. There is a great pub, Louie on the Lake, on the first floor.

The Fairmont Hotel is across from Lake Michigan, in the Loop and centrally located to the museums, the Magnificent Mile and the reception.

While the W does have a lake front location, we chose the City Center because it is a block and a half from the reception site. It is on the south side of The Loop and has easy access to all musuems, tourist attractions, shopping destinations, the lake and our reception. From what we've heard, their lobby's bar, Whiskey, is a hot spots to go in the city. And by the way, we will be staying here after our event, too.
TRAVELING BY AIR:
Chicago has two major airports: Midway and O'Hare. While you might find better options elsewhere, please feel free to take advantage of our group wedding discounts by calling these selected airlines directly.

If you are traveling by air you have a few options for getting into the city: 1) let us know your arrival time and we will try to arrange for you to be picked up at the airport, 2) Airport Express (888-2-THEVAN)or www.airportexpress.com, 3) the Blue Line El Train travels into the city from O'Hare and the Orange Line El Train travels into the city from Midway, or 4) taxis run 24 hours a day.
TRAVELING BY TRAIN: The Amtrak train goes into Union Station, 210 South Canal Street (corner of Canal and Jackson).
TRAVELING BY CAR: Interstates 55, 290, 90 and 94 all lead into downtown Chicago. We recommend that you utilize an Internet map site such as www.mapquest.com if you are traveling by car. A large parking lot is located on the premises of the reception site. Parking is priced at $6.00. Each parking spot requires the submission of payment within the nearby payment box.
RENTAL CAR ARRANGEMENTS: We recommend that you take taxis while you are in Chicago since parking is often hard to find and can be expensive. Cabs are plentiful.
