The Race:
I gave some false information about what happen to Paul Sunday. Thanks Don Dallenbach for telling me what really happend. Here is the story from Don:

Just to bring everyone up to date on the Chicago race....Paul was definitely on the move to the front of the field from the beginning of the race. The car was extremely good and even better on the long runs. We started from the 27th position and it didn't take long for Paul to make it to 18th position, passing as many as 4 cars on a single lap! The car was fast and handling perfectly. He was able to drive any line he wanted. Then the racing gremlins popped out their little ugly heads! We started getting a bad hesitation when accelerating out of the corners. Then it got worse within the next lap. The decision was made to bring the car in to check under the hood for loose wires of fuel pressure problems. No problems were found with the visual inspection so the call was placed to get an official from GM to hook the PCM to the computer. The car would idle but would die when the throttle was depressed. We found out that it was a faulty Mass Airflow Sensor and simply unplugging it fixed the problem. The bad part of the whole deal was that it took quite some time to get the official to make it over to the car to make the 20 second repair. We went down 23 laps. Once the car was back on the track, Paul was running with the leaders and able to pull them in. The car was so perfect that we could have gone the entire race on a single set of tires. As you could imagine, everyone was pretty upset with the situation we were put in. It was defiantly a hard lesson learned about EFI engines. On the bright side, the car came out without a scratch, the team got some good experience and Paul showed us that we are VERY capable of running up front!
