HF-MUN is Homewood Flossmoor High School's Model United Nations team. We meet after school bi-weekly to prepare for conferences, starting in the fall and ending in early spring. For the 2002-2003 academic year, we plan to attend three conferences. The club is sponsored by Ms. Laura Keller, and meets during the school year every other Thursday in E-7, and also utilizes the media center (T3) for research purposes. Our last conference was SMUNC, sponsored by Adlai Stevenson High School. Our next conference of the year will be the MUNUC conference held at the Palmer House by the University of Chicago . HF-MUN is in its fourth year.  This year's officers, for the second year in a row, are:

This year we plan to expand membership, and increase fundraising.  Also, we would like to expand club activities to encompass international political debate.  In previous years, we have been a strictly conference oriented, extra-curricular activity.
